How about instead of waiting for it to start back up (Because with fighting, the scene rarely just comes back after awhile) We try and build it back up by heading up to Aaron's things since there isn't anything at WoM right now? I'm pretty sure I can make it up there on the 10th. Most of you guys should come too.

  4. Dude. Use google maps. Type in Livonia. Repeat. :3 Its a lil bit far from you but whatever. If i remember right, there are people driving down from Flint to go to Ranbats/tourneys in Ann Arbor/Garden City. Do a lil bit of research, click that link I put, pm those people. Do a lil digging. It can't hurt. UoM is like.. 40 Min away from me. Its do-able. I'll think about swinging up there sometime soon. Keep me post'd on when you guys are having them.

Also, i'm 20 min away from Livonia. Anything there would be easily makeable. We should BB one day for the hell of it.

  7. Do something jump cancel able and go with them if you want a block string. If not, grab. They will run out sooner or later. Usually sooner.

  9. If you hit her while she is in the drive, it should be a counter hit. She can't tech until she hits the ground. If I remember right its pretty simple. Don't jump. Just wait till Ragna finishes the 6A and combo from 5B,5C. Or hell, 6A her again. She can't tech. :/
  10. 5D is more fun. It reaches higher and lasts longer, taking away the guess work of Ragna's 6A vs Tager's Elbow Drop. Just something to think about. Because i'm sure you already thought about 623D. Long time ago..ya know.. back 2 secs ago when he start'd the Elbow Drop animation... If anyone thinks of poking with Hell's, don't. Just poke with 5/2C. No need to risk a -4 because you wanna look cool. And besides, a counter hit 5C leads into a ton of fun damage. Easiest being 5C 2D.
  11. Lol, he'll kill you anyway. Its an infinite. If you can't 623C it, burst when you get low enough health for the tension boost and go crazy. It is your best bet.
  12. Yeah. If I remember right, Ragna's backdash invincibility is 4 frames(same as Nu's?), so you can kinda play the odds a lil bit with a Block'd Hell Fang with it being -4 on block in most cases. Sometimes you'll end up outta position to get combo'd if hit, others you can use the -4 to your advantage and dodge a quick Jab or poke. But eh. All that being said, Its 50/50. Its something to try...maybe... But it usually will come down to block or 623C. And I'mma fan of blocking. Backdashes aren't bad. You just have to know when you use them, T.B. Ragna has an alright one just like most of the cast. Ragnarök. Hell's Fang to grabs loses to jabs and much more. You're -4. I think his throw is like 7 or something. That gives them 11 frames to catch you with something. Another Ragna could 5B you outta your throw attempt.
  13. No. :/ To many people in the cast can punish 2D. And its VERY easy to see. Most of then don't even need to instablock it. If you want a low, just hit with 2B. But the better question is, if you're hittin with 5D DC, why aren't you ending with 6A JC Combo, or if the hit counter is high, 5D Hell's Fang?
  14. 6D JC.... Its one of the top worst things to do with Ragna. You have no air projectile, so any thats antiair will hit you unless you fall with Barrier. Either way, its a clear way to give up the offensive. Try going 6D j.D into a quick 5B, 2B if you must keep that offensive.
  15. Yep. And don't be scared to toss out a Gauntlet Hades when you get your feet off the ground from time to time too. Its pretty much one more free hit.

  19. After a certain number of hits Mac, Hell's can't combo end at the end of 22C. Go learn that number. It will make life a bit easier for ya. No Ragna in their right mind would skip the block string and go right to the Hell's -4 frame Disadvantage. And on Hakumen, it would be as easy as hittin D+BC at the right time. It would void a Grab and His 623C at the same time. Haku gets a Win/Tie while Ragna is stuck with a Lose/Tie. Since you like counters so much, i'm sure you'd take advantage of that. And i'm not saying Proto did bad. I'm sure he could never do HORRIBLE, mind you. But he'd be better, imo, "If". Replacing, AHAHAH, LUCKY PURPLE with a Tech Trap or something is a better move 100 % of the time. Imo. Also, I didn't play in that tourney, so i'm just some watcher scrub that like to think he knows what he's talking about atm.

  21. If your Mixup is gettin' caught by counters, Revolver slow. When you see the counter come up, 2C. Try Enjoying your 4k that way. Its a bit more reliable. You make them stop throwing counters. And you look cool. You get in their head. Oh, the the wake game after would be in your favor too, right? Why reset anything when you can still be on the offensive? Just something I don't get. But hey, what do I know? Maybe Mac is just one hell of a counter-er! Can see into the future and stuff when his fingers on the D Button. White Void Style~
  22. If you knew how to use BK, you wouldn't say that. It turns Ragna's rushdown up quite a few notches. With Blood Kain, you can turn 6D into a VERY good Air Meaty(All Leading to 4000+ Easily), Throw into Massive damage with a beautiful wake up tech trap(Do a few 5D cancels and make the last hit something easily techable after connection such as 5B or 6A. Then Revolver to a Meaty In Air Unblockable without barrier. They will be so close, it can and should lead to mix up if block'd. ), Mess with people's heads with Death Spike, (Take a look at what it does to barrier or Guard Libra. Blocking one is about 2 bars on the Guard Libra If I remember correctly. And its safe VS counters. ) Keep People on the def. side of things, Zone better(You could go air to air with Hakumen if you want now. j.D can be out of Haku's j.C and several of his special inputs simply because its taking up half the screen. Oh, and you can jump cancel it to now flat out dodge counters after the hitbox touches the Counter if your spacing is correct), Rake in Tension on block or hit and chip people out like crazy. A block string with BK and a Rapid should be a guard break. Or end with them having no barrier. One of the other. With the tension that you get from pullin' off basic things in BK, its not to hard to see. Usually, BK in Desperation is a sad attempt to try and pull things back together. That "Last 50 Heat" vs most chars would be better use'd as a long blockstring into Hell/GH to Rapid than grasping at your right hand. Using it in a safer, aggressive way on the other hand. Much better Idea.
  23. Wait...so.. Instead of throwing Green, You threw in purple instead? That, even when someone is mashing D counters, still makes no sense. A decent player isn't going to let you do that. Unless you're online. Then it just might work! Go for counter throws instead. Use Death Spike. Do some High Low. Revolver Slow. Use more 22C to scare people. Anything but purple throws. Please.
  24. If Hakumen jumps at me, it becomes a guessing game if he has 3 Jewels. He can either beat out my antiair or get hit throwing j.C. Priority isn't something you have to worry about if you throw the best move. 623C is good, but is easily bait'd. I'd rather not be counter hit standing by Hakumen TOSSING OUT 623C EVERY TIME POSSIBLE when I can more safely antiair him and get better damage or some Blood Kain damage into the mix.
