Yeah.. I donno what the match up is but its always a pain. Always. I'm fine with blockin' his block strings but when the point counters start flying, I can't seem to get a hit in after Block any of them. Even my grabs get beat out when hes like that. I've been trying out some stuff but I don't know any/many people Bang that play, so I can't test it out. His nails aren't a huge deal. His Block string isn't a huge deal. Just those point counters. Sometimes they get stuff'd and I just don't get why. :P If i knew why, i'd do it a lot more. 2ndly, I still toss meaties at him if from some amazin' stroke of luck I get a quick knock down. Meaty 2A or 2B to get a lucky hit confirm. The low hit works sometimes but its really silly and I just act like i'm doin' it vs his super bar. I used to barrier guard a lot, but recently it makes me not be able to see him as i'm so close and my tv is shit so... I've been just havin' to sit through the 9 Nail block string for guard crush. :P

Sweet. That makes everything a hell of a lot easier. I think B just became my perma-poke :P

214C 214D 66 5B 5D (1Hit) 214C 214D 66 5B 623D 236C 236C So I have Dashes in there after 214C 214D but i'm not sure if that is really what they are doin'... Is it really possible to get a dash in that amount of time without making your 5B turn into a 6B? Or is there just some special way to do it? I'm only asking because I don't wanna spend 3 days in trainin' for hours trying to do something the wrong way. I've also seen what I believe is that 66-5B dash after 6D j.D to get a 3C 22C combo, or even things like (Corner) 5B 3C 22C 66 5A 5B 3C 22C Is it really just a Dash?

It does, which is why I have to do it that way. Age, typin' skills, reading skills, conveyin' points and tact are things that need to improve in some way or another before I let him loose on the site. It will save me and him a headache in the long run...that long run, were the 'leash' cut, being a week, tops. :3 Its just kinda odd to look up a few chars I have no interest in whatsoever. Leads to some really silly mirror matches when I do end up pickin' the same guy as him. :P Edit: Feri, I donno. Because he wants to get better I guess? I'm sure there might be a few pieces of sibling rivalry in there as well, which is just fine by me.

I've just noticed that when i'm playin Ky, I end up running into a lot of his little Midair Electric Cross traps. I got more careful and start'd to 6s my way around that. Any idea on how to get more damage of that punish besides just another 6s if they are high enough?

I'm teachin' my bro how to play GG and i'd like to say hes doin' pretty well for himself.(My GUIDANCE is amazin' ) I play him all the time and make sure that hes having fun with it. If the person you're tryin' to teach HATES losing a lot but likes fighting games and the style of them, make sure hes having a blast and that you aren't kicking his ass every time. Doing that every time is just silly and will piss off just about anyone. When people are having fun with something and know there are deeper levels to it, i'll just branch out in anyway that they can to learn more and get better. I just gotta make sure I drop hints from time to time and be his source of interesting information. That shouldn't be to hard for me with a place like this :3
