  1. Interesting! I'll add those as soon as I test them!
  2. Pretty much.
  3. Just some things I noticed from the demo; forgive me if any of these are already known: - EX Cores suck in all of the little EX energy balls and grow additional wings every time a set amount is absorbed. The amount of EX energy obtained from the EX Core has to do with how many wings the core had. - Dashes (R + ^) can be held to cover longer distances.
  4. I'm happy that I could help!

  5. I'll keep it. I won't start deleting threads until the first page is full, unless they violate the TOS. Welcome to DL, by the way! As far as tips, is there anything in particular you're interested in? Grips? Button configs? Motion shortcuts? Or just everything?
  6. Please use the Question and Answer thread ! Anyways, as far as you question is concerned, most Japanese sticks use square gates, and most hardcore fighting game enthusiasts use Japanese sticks, so...
  7. Oh yeah, Gwyrgyn, here's the video with the (?) combo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-bjrW-UNrA (0:24) I thought that it combo'd; that's what I get for not using the HD function on YouTube .
  8. Its a Level 4 move, so it has 18 frames of stun against a blocking, standing opponent. Also, it has a 10 frame disadvantage on block. I've uploaded a pressure section in the Tips and Tricks. Its not that great, but it should help. I play against CPUs, so I'm the last person to come to for advice on pressure . Anyways, all feedback will be greatly appreciated, and the section will promptly be corrected!
  9. Yes, you need to make sure that you are releasing the C button quickly, as the move won't grab the opponent until you do so.
  10. Actually, I did mention that, but took it out a little while ago because I was trying to make the guide a little more formal. EDIT: Thank you very much, Gwyrgyn! I don't have much time to do anything but check new posts these days! As promised, I'm almost done with that pressure guide; it should be up within the week !
  11. Heh, that's interesting!

  12. I understand that there is a wealth of new material in the NTSC release, but would someone be kind enough to compile a list? I really like this game; I've played the demo a little too much .
  13. It's important to know what moves you can punish on block and which ones you can't. For that, I'd recommend just grinding in Training mode until you have it all committed to memory. Welcome to DustLoop, BTW! Just, for future reference, please use the Iron Tager Q&A thread for questions !
  14. It's important to note that the demo is rather different than the full version in that you can customize your moves in the full game. On that note, I hear that the US version will have an Arcade type mode that was not available in the JP version.
  15. I got the demo, this game is very interesting. I had trouble learning everything but other than that, it was great. I can't wait to get this in the mail!
  16. The next thing I'm going to be adding to the guide is a how-to on pressure, lockdowns, and okizeme. I hope it'll help!
  17. Either you're holding Collider for too long, or they are simply too close to you.
  18. My apologies for not checking these forums for so long; my internet is having some issues (cursed Mozilla Hakumen!). I should be able to start back full time in a day or two.
  19. That's never been mentioned before; interesting tactic, but it probably wouldn't work very well against a seasoned opponent (they don't tend to use supers out of the blue). Nonetheless, I'll see if I can tack it into the guide somewhere .
  20. OK, it's time to go crazy with the combos; I'll try to get good BNBs off of everything into the guide, and if we get enough flowing in, I'll start a Tager Combo thread.
  21. This is interesting, kensk. I'll have to find a spot in the guide to put this. Can you think of any others?
  22. They probably used the shortcuts. You have to disable those if you don't want people to use them. Keep in mind, however, that it is possible that they buffered it so well that you didn't even notice.
  23. OK, I've changed the Matchups section, and I'm typing up the Tips & Tricks section right now. Tomorrow, I'll spend some time in Training and get some more combos. Afterwards, I'll probably compile the information in those matchup forums. Sorry I've been so off the ball lately, guys . I don't know, I just don't feel confident about this guide. Any tips?
  24. Oh goodness, how did I do that? It's been fixed, though; please don't try to stop projectiles with 6C.
  25. I'm sorry sir, but this would be better off asked in the Q&A thread. Welcome to Dustloop, BTW! EDIT: You know what, I really didn't need to lock this thread.
