  1. SFIV scrubfest was fun. :v: We'll have to play for real some time.

  2. That tier list is .
  3. bjholmes2 XBL: bjholmes2 GMT: EST (GMT -5) Location: Powder Springs, Georgia, USA I decided to pick up Tao because she was as close of a character as I could find to SF's Vega. That, and I can get on Axis' nerves with high-speed shenanigans. :3
  4. OK guys, I've got a new computer that is good enough to handle YouTube (finally). This means that I have been able to watch several Hazama videos and have thus regained my interest in working on the guide. If you have any suggestions, send them my way!
  5. Don't forget the Samurai Shodown and King of Fighters anthologies. And the slew of Street Fighters on the VC. Anyways, as for Gold Lightan, here are some things I've noticed: 1.) You're going to be mashing jabs a lot. 2.) You don't get any health back, so spam BBQs like easy FRCs. 3.) hcb+C causes snapback. 4.) hcf+BC seems much better in the air, as it is safer and hits on the way down.
  6. Jump. Gadget Finger is all one big, nasty guessing game.
  7. What concerns me is that I get booted off of the WFC (aka I'm the one who gets DC'd). Anyways, this is still a very nice game. I've actually taken some interest in playing as Lightan for giggles.
  8. Regarding Battle Fantatsia (360): The netcode is meh. There is usually a small bit of input delay that takes some getting used to, but it isn't anything crippling. If you ever catch me online (one or two hours in the afternoon most days), I'd be happy to play. :)

  9. Raaaaage! I assigned the Wii a static IP, forwarded all of the appropriate ports, and I used a wired connection. However, when I tried to play online, it was dreadful; the game itself was running unbelievably slowly, and somehow I got kicked off of the Nintendo WFC both times. I just can't figure out what the problem is. I think I'm just going to forget about online Wii gaming altogether.
  10. Brian 1763 - 4215 - 3269 There is my FC, if anyone is interested in playing. EDIT: Oh my word, random online play is horrendous. Every one of the five or six matches I've played have had at least five seconds of input delay (full seconds), and I'm using a wired connection. What a bummer. Anyways, my main is now Soki. I've got some combos here, if anyone is interested. I'm so proud of myself for discovering these! 1.) H 3H (9), j.L j.L j.M (9), j.M j.H 2.) H 6H xx 623L, L M 3H (9), j.L j.M j.M 3.) H 6H xx 623M xx 236MH 4.) H (2H) 6H (Alex assist hits) xx 623H xx 236MH Notes: All - Before the beginning of each combo, feel free to add in jump-ins, L and M combos, and BBQ'd combos. 1 - Highest damage Aerial combo I could find without any meter or assists. 2 - 623L, L is a link. 3 - Easy BnB into super. 4 - Does good damage, about 22k billion. The timing for the Alex summon is much more strict if you include the 2H.
  11. OK, I picked this up today and got to play it in Training mode for a few minutes. It seems a lot less "zoney" than MvC2. From what I've played, I like it (a lot) better, but then again, I never really got into MvC2. Character-wise, I like using Alex, Karas, and that one guy from Onimusha whose name I cannot remember.
  12. You're playing against a bunch of scrubs who have their Wii as far away from their wireless router as possible. What did you expect? That's why I use a wired connection. Anyways, I've decided that, once I pick up the game, I'll give Alex, Ryu, Jun the Swan, and Frank West a try.
  13. That drawing of Tager was nice, but I'm afraid you posted it in the wrong spot and I deleted it. However, there is a BB Fanart thread in the Zepp Museum. It would be perfect if you posted it there. Besides, it would reach a much wider audience that way. ;)

  14. 1.) If you (as a collective) want more combos in the guide, you need to post them; I haven't actually played CS yet. I just compiled some basic info. 2.) If a post doesn't add actual info to the guide, it does not belong in this thread. It goes in the general discussion. Such would include whining about the guide lacking combos.
  15. I don't remember what happened the other day, but whatever it was, apology accepted! Anyways, GGs last night; it's nice to see that I'm making some progress!

  16. GGs in BF! You play re-Marco-bly! :vbang:

  17. OK, we (the mods) have been talking and have come to the decision that there is too much crap on Dustloop. As a result, I will be deleting the Off-Topic and online forums; take that stuff elsewhere. Also, I will have no tolerance for off-topic posting, and I will delete it on sight. Also, do not post anything in this thread unless it has to do with the guide. From now on, the Tager forums are gameplay discussion ONLY.
  18. Good work!
  19. Happy birthday!

  20. Don't forget that every move done in a FC combo has slightly more hitstun. Therefore, the door is opened to previously impossible combos. At least, that's how it was the last I checked up on it.
  21. Keep what up?

  22. Thank you for the add. :)

  23. I'd like to know this as well.
  24. I don't know for sure, but I think it's safe to assume that the hittable box stays roughly on Hazama the whole time. It'd be pretty cheesy if they could hurt you by attacking the chain.
