Very much appreciated, LM_Akira. Everybody take note of 6P and 6 HS into 421 S. Woot! About time we get more practical 421 S combos. And seems 2S (CH), 421 S is really legid AA combo against alle characters now. So that clarifies already some stuff in my top post. PS. You interested in picking up Dizzy, LM_Akira? Isnt HOS your main?

They have been using that a lot since Slash already. Hm changes ... I think it floats opponent longer higher on Air CH in AC now.

My 5 cents to the changes. The changes are all very good ... if this was still Slash or a Slash update. A lot of stuff, bugs, oversights were fixed, taken care of. I was cursing ARC before for doing a sloppy job in /. It just smelled like a rush job ... After viewing AC matches, I believe ARC really seemed to have adressed all the faults in Slash. Changes I´ve been waiting to appear with AC : - Easy execution for Necro grab. Finally a proper reversal type of attack w/ way better application. Imperial Ray is soooo shit. What kind of OD disappears (Imperial Ray, FRC, Dizzy attacks, gets hit, OD dissappears too, wtf?!) doesnt hit properly for full hits sometime and trades in opponents favour (maybe Dizzy players should have bitched earlier about this like the testaments. midnight Circular was pretty crappy too in XX. same problems like Imperial ray) (I still believe Dizzys ODs are all a big joke ) - That fish no longer disappear once they are out, great stuff. Dizzy finally gets equality. Venoms balls, Ky projectiles, dont disappear once out. What was Arc thinking when they made Slash ... We´ll never know. - Extended fish rushes! Thank god ARC finally did something about that. We all know, fish rushes are full of holes to escape and over before u know it. Now we get something a little closer to a Eddie rush and more opportunities to land hits during a fish rush, attack. - Jump 2S. Now our jump, IAD oki are much easier, possible to do now. No more IAD attacks that whiff because opponent was crouching whole time or running at you. - 2Hs seems to have gotten increased front hitbox (unconfirmed, based on vids)! We all have seen, experienced lots of times how in Slash the 2K, 2HS gatling, the 2HS would whiff sometimes. After losing the special cancel from the 2D in Slash (2K, 2D was a very often used and cursed (lol) gatling in #R days ), the next best move after 2K was 2HS. Someone didnt seem to have used the 2K, 2HS gatling much during the beta test of Slash... Seems to have been fixed now, thank god! - Better gatlings/improved moves! (Unconfirmed, based on vids) If these changes had been done in Slash, Dizzy would be solid in Slash. The nerfs in AC I could have lived with in Slash. Why I believe Dizzy just blows in AC atm. - Almost entire cast got boosted big time while Dizzy only seemed to have gotten a patch job! - So far I miss big damage combos midscreen, Death combos in corners. Everything still revolves around knockdowns into set ups and reset, repeat. Other characters got more situations now to get in big damage. With Dizzy, its still the same so far ... Could at least have given her more tools to score knockdown from Air moves or increased tech time on icespike. Or just change the icespike back to its former XX, #R glory ! Alright, thats my 5 cents to this. Now back to playing PSU

Nope, May does the combo. Well, its more like 65-70%, but its landed from a CH. Its just the vert. dolphin loops, but sure hurts on Dizzy.

That was from tougeki spirits/damashii. Its not a tier list. More of a growth, development list. *: low hope ** : good expectation *** : can be top tiers *: Bridget **:Sol, Ky, Millia, Potemkim, Chipp, Johnny, Anji, Slayer, Zappa, ***: May, Eddie, Faust, Anji, Jam, Axl, Venom, Testament, Dizzy, Ino, Robo Ky, O Sol, Aba Poor Buri, no bright future ... Also says in the article that Slash back hasnt been properly used yet. They expect Slash Back to have some kind of inpact on gameplay.

Im not sure how to call this thread, so dont bring out the torches. Not even sure if this should go independent. Ok so what I have in mind is, that we list stuff we havnt seen yet in match vids, but which in theory might be possible to do. And let others confirm (from watching a vid, player, personal testing, etc.) if it works or not. - 2D into special cancel does work in AC. How about about our favorite #R combo > 2D, spike, FRC, repeat! Is it possible to do in AC or is the damn cancel too hard to do consistent, the decreased range on 2D makes it difficult, impossible to do? - Latest tougekii damashii had a combo vid for all characters. For Dizzy they had a Anti Air variation, that went CH 2S, 241 S (hold), jump HS .... Now, this only worked on only a few characters in Slash. eg. May. Now I´m wondering, is this possible to do on more, all characters (especially small ones like Millia, Bridget!) or was Arcadia or whoever decided on the content of that combo vid just being lazy, lack of inspiration? - Is 6P, 6HS really a legid combo, as seen in those (sucky) filebank vids? If yes, is it possible to do this gatling > eg. opponent gets hit by bubble close to the groundy dash in and 6P, 6HS, ... possible? Alright, thats some of the stuff thats been bugging me and would be greatly appreciated if they can be clarified for all of us, I´d wager.

Hmmm, I´m a little worried about the HS beam fish. It moves weird. And seems to slightly take longer to be active. Not a good thing. If the delay is only by a couple of frames, people can start jumping out or block the beam midair, once they get up. I see my standard oki after 2HS, throw w/ the beam in jeopardy. Hope thats not the case ...

In the very first AC vid vs. Zappa, at 1:10, its there. Well it was counter hit, so maybe its a non comboable gatling on nomal hit like 2P, 5H. But I think its still there. Edit : Its there, 5K, 5H. But I saw something else really sexy in those filebank matches. 5H into 2H!!! (gatling was 5k, close S, 5H, 2H). OMG, rocksor! :drool: Getting 1 step closer back to #R BnB combo Damage. ROFL, omg. 6P is a KD/float move like Sols 6P. And 6HS combos after it! Saw 5K, 6P, 6HS, jc ... Holy Gatlings, wth?! :blink:

no, the new air 2S is super sexy. no more whiffed IAD P because opponent is too small, or back dashes. And I hope it has cross up properties and a better hit box down then jump HS. Fact is, Dizzy sucks in the Air, Air to Ground. I´m thinking along the lines like Venom (or others like Sol, Ky) IAD S, HS or Sols IAD S, HS/D in high/Low okis. Btw, I think I did see 5K, 5HS gatling in that very first AC vid vs. HOS (or was it Zappa?). PS. Crap, I should be following more AC news. Instead I´m all PSU online play atm. :bad:

I think you need to check guard gauge stats on character. Might be easier/harder on some since each character has different guard increase Factor (0.85; 1.15 ...) from what I remember.

VLC player does the job. But don`t bother w/ them vids. I think they were #R. White Bursts signs.
