I'm trying to find a place myself. Goryus was nice enough to let me stay a awhile ago, but it was just the floor... If you're willing to sacrifice ego and your back to save money, I'm sure there's something that can work out. If you're tight on budget, then hotels are out of the question. The cheapest place was for like 43 bucks, and it was pretty crummy.

Thanks Orion, Kelvin, Aginor, Ginseng, Willy, and Erik for the turnout. It was fun. I think the new matches will look good (And HEY dont make fun of my garbage can setup. It was pro :3). God Ginseng's and Aginor's trolling was srs overkill. If I saw one more fireball and random DP in that Jin mirror I would've committed suicide. Wish I rematched you Kelvin, it would've been fun :3. Multiple times I got to the last match and then lost 3 times consecutively. It like the game is saying "Hey, you're getting bette-NOT! SIKE YA FUCKIN NUB." The truth.

Wait... what. There is no "2nd" 9d~9... you mean 9d~9 after the 9D~5? If you're doing both 9d~9's it will make you whiff. You're too close to the wall. If you 2d~9 -> 5d~a -> 9d~5 -> 9d~9 you'll hit it. But again character specific.

I remember at least in CT I know for sure, that the 9d~9 after the 5d~a has to be done VERY quickly, or else you will drop through and whiff. Also, of course its sometimes easier on other characters. As for my 6a JC 5d~b TL problem, I figured it out. You just have to JC as high as humanly possible without dropping the combo, then the 214d after the taunt will go through.
