Crap, how could I forgot you post in here from time to time. lol I remember you had made a post wanting to know what Weiß and Schar's roles are in the game. If you have any questions about the story, I could tell you if you still want to know.

Yes, the Mizuumi wiki is correct. The Wind Arcana can work well with basically anyone in the game. It work exceptionally well for Catherine though because she has such a big hitbox. Wind allows her to avoid hits a lot easier. It also gives better combos with Wind's 2D move. Like I said before anyone can be a pretty good zoner but Cathy doesn't really need an Arcana to zone. Her moves already allow for that. -623A/B/C fires a missile at different angles depending on the buttons pressed. 623C(downward arc) is great for oki and blockstun - 22A+B sends out Chibigawa which slowly walks to the opponent. Amazing for oki and keep away. The opponent also doesn't have to be that close for it to explode in their face. lol -Cathy's command moves 6C/3C fire ball barrings foward while standing or forward while Cathy is crouching. They can easily put the opponent in lockdown. Counter hits with this allow for a second ball to hit the opponent for free. Petra is very nice in this game. She got so much better from AH2. The system in AH3 works well for her because of it's meter refill. This allows her not to always be scrambling to recharge her ether cartridges 1 by 1 and just use the super ether recharge(22A+B) which fills all 3 ether catridges at once. Her new move L.G.A Assualt also adds a lot to her game. An Arcana Heart player. Durr.

Well, anyone can be a zoner coupled with the right Arcana. lol Strictly character speaking though, there are quite a few characters that are heavy zoners. It's hard to say which is the best zoner, but Scharlachrot seems to be a growing favorite. Here's a general list of character classes I made on SRK: Long range/technical(Zoners) Scharlachrot Dorothy Yoriko Maori Petra Nazuna Lieselotte Clarice Other character classes from my list include: Simple Weiß Heart Saki Angelia Elsa Kamui Eko Mei-Fang Heavy Hitter Catherine Kira Zenia Fiona Speed Lilica Konoha Akane Bitch Parace Now remember, this list is generalized for newcomers. Oreichalkos(Metal) is by far the best Arcana for Kira in AH3. Great to make up for the not so careful Kira players. Dikaiosi(236236E) - Great to use after Kira's 623C move that bounces opponent high into the air. 623C can also be followed by an EFC>Arcana Blaze

Yeah, easier said than done. Every player @ NEC either used 4HC or jumped after clash. A competent player will have no problem dodging 360s. If you played the game you would know this. Getting in on a decent Schar can be tough with any character. Kira doesn't have any keep away moves like Catherine to make up for her huge hitbox. Kira also lost one of her best combos which was a well timed Arcana Force during opponents combo then do a 720 or 1080. Now that Arcana Blaze doesn't exist anymore, she can't even do that. She's still got tricks up her sleeve though. When I get more time with the game, I'm gonna find them. lol

When I played AH3, I had a very hard time fighting anyone when I was Kira. She's just not that good in this. She also lost her best combo too in AH3. It also didn't help that I was mostly fighting Scharlachrot. Shoutouts to people bitching about how cheap Scharl is then maining her.

Learn what move is best in what situation fo rall the characters..... There aren't many Zappa players @ these tournaments. I didn't see even one @ NEC. People were giving me props just for picking him. lol I have learned you have to really patient when playing as Zappa though. Can't just rush in.

I went to NEC which was my first tournament ever. It was extremely fun but in GG, I got owned. Hard. I don't know what happened. It's like all my training for years went out the window. I play Zappa so I knew it would be a major uphill battle but man, it was crazy how fast I got beat. Then I did casuals with FaultyDefense's Venom. I tried to get tips but he could only help me out so much because nobody plays Zappa. I don't have anyone to play GG with at home. How do I train for my next GG tournament with no high level players to go against? I plan to go to one of the TeamSt1ckbug tourneys in NYC sometime.

KOFXI is great and has depth. Yes, it did have tagging but I thought it was handled extremely well. Links were very easy to do probably becuase the main focus of the game is QS combos. I really don't know how many people actually used OTGs in a real match though. The unreasonable dislike of XI still confuses me. I mean the 4 main games to play in KOF are 98UM, 2002UM, XI, and XIII. To a lot of people, these are the best games the series has to offer. While games like OG98, OG2002, and NeoWave still get tons of play as well.

Looks like someone can't do Quick Shift combos. Anyway, I've played the games on Neo Geo Station to death. This is the SNK game I want to play.

AH3: Ghost Cobra is a joke in the SRK Arcana thread from NEC last weekend. the AH3 signup sheet looked something like this: ARCANA HEART 3 GHOST COBRA Bill307 Master Chibi woof sibladeko Ghost's name was in red so it kinda looked like a subtitle. After the tournament had started, we realized Ghost Cobra wasn't in the bracket. It was all kinda rushed. OK. I'm back from NEC. Best shit ever. Played AH3 the most while there. Shoutouts to people bitching about Schar then wanting to main her. Shoutouts to so many poeple picking Saki. I was the only one who picked Eko. NOBODY knew that her moves were so bullshit. -C version of "It's a Carriage"([4]6+Attack) causes Guard Crush. Which can be followed up by "Cinderella"(214+AB) aka EX Disney Super. - "I'm Drawing"(22+Attack) gives clash frames on her sketchbook and it can reflect projectiles. The drawings that come out are pretty annoying. (Bird) - Flies in a curve and speeds up. Hits multiple times. (Cloud) - Comes out diagonally above you and slowly travels further in that direction. Does not attack, but has a clash hitbox the entire time. (House) - Comes out diagonally up, then falls straight down. Has an overhead hitbox until it touches the ground. (Flower) - While falling, it can hit the opponent for a mid attack, but on the ground it only has a collision box. (Sun) - Stay put diagonally above you. Has an attack hitbox the entire time. (Cat) - Moves forward on the ground. Think of it like a mini version of Nazuna's wolf summon. Hits mid while falling down, hits low while walking. -"We're Spinning!" (63214+AB Air only) hits overhead and has throw invincibility. Easily ground bounces Eko on hit or miss for a fast get away or a quick air grab. A strategy I found to work very well is: 1A, 1A, 1B, 6A(2 hit), 236+AB>super takes both players to corner. Then if opponent wall recovers, quickly do an air grab. Which is low enough for Eko to follow up with an EX Disney super as soon as she lands on the ground. It's hilarious when this works.

Some of the OGs in the AH community have already ripped and converted the sidebars. Now they are working on adding nice little touches to it like names behind the characters.

Prototype pretty much nailed the Norse mythology allusion but for a more detailed explanation on the AH3 story: Two months had passed sine the "Great Kanto Incident" involving Mildred's defection from the Holy Institutes and plan to merge the 2 worlds. Prologue The Drexler Institue was destroyed once by the Western Europe Holy Branch. Now secretly refroming itself as a Holy Office Branch in Japan called the Rosenberg Academy(boarding school), was finally allowed to resume it's activities around the world. Drexler uses the academy to find girls with large amounts of Ether energy and trains them to become soilders. Unlike the Holy Offices though they use them for their own evil purposes. Dimensional portals started appearing around the world. Drexler is organizing a plan.... To the sinking of Japan in 6 days. Weiß Part of the Drexler Branch in Japan(Valkyria), is an exceptional student being trained since early childhood. Petra had already destoyed this branch but has tried to bring it back as a normal boarding school for girls. Petra soon found out that one girl is missing, Scharlachrot. Petra asks Weiß to help her stand up to Drexler and find her. Scharlachrot Another girl being trained by Drexler. She was best friends with Weiß and has a very strong dependancy on her. Before Petra bought down Drexler, they brainwashed Schar for one last mission. She normally has a shy and gentle disposition but now Schar is down right sadistic. Eko Eko is a girl who has the unique ability to move energy into something so that it can move on its own, which she mainly focuses into drawings. She shares a mutually dependent relationship with her "brother," Kaz, who is one of her drawing come to life. Due to her high level of Ether energy(like Heart) she was sought out by the Drexler Institute and captured. Since Petra had destroyed some of these "protection organizations", not much was known of Eko after that. She does seem to want to find Petra so that they can draw and play together.

Fiona and Angelia never died. By stepping foot in the Arcana world for too long you stop aging. Saki went there once but wasn't able to stay there. So she continues to age normally. Oh yeah, now it's coming back to me. Thanks for reminding me. I haven't played AH2 in a while. Clarice was a high ranking demon that worked for Lilica's father. Because of this, Clarice was targeted by Holy Western European Office who sent out Elsa to assassinate the demon. They both inflict fatal wounds on each other from battle and the Arcanas Sorwat and Koshmar make a temporary contract with them and give them immortality. They both have to work for the two Arcana to keep feeding them impure souls or something. Now Clarice does volunteer work at the Vatican and is called in to help for emergencies(like Mildred's defection) that involve combat personnel. That's why Clarice wears the nun outfit now.

Yeah, Elsa is a nun and Clarice is a demon nun(lol). They had a deep hatred for each other and eventually fought to the death. Both of them died and got reincarnated in the Arcana World. Now they are both immortal and work together under Petra. That's the jist of it. lol Please elaborate on "Soma"
