Um, I never said to do Germinal stand-alone. You can combo into it from Sans-Culotte just like in KOFXI. Unlike XI though, Sans-Culotte works much better as an anti-air in XIII making it more useful. Yes, I would definitely say that Elisabeth is better than Shen. No doubt. She has counters, step forward/backward specials for either frame traps or bait, a great DP, good hit confirms into super, command grab. Her movelist is overkill now in many ways. Shen is still very good though. Not sure if this a sarcasm or not but I see him charging as a opportunity to take advantage of him not being able to escape many things. That's not to say Raiden still isn't a threat while charging.

I'll be on today playing Arcana like I usually do. Maybe some people will be closer to me so I won't get 0-1 bars with so many players. I'm sick of playing Dorothy in that kind of lag. Also, you guys better keep playing AH3 after BBCS2 comes out but I know that's probably asking for too much.

Shen has great offense but no defensive abilities at all really. Aside, from his Tamaken Deflect which reflect projectiles and can be canceled. Also, I don't think you realize how limited Raiden is when he has charge the dropkicks. When you charge the B Super Dropkick you temporarily lose the use of st./cr./j.B, Evasive rolls/Safe Rolls/GCAB and the ability to activate Hyperdive (BC) mode which is a real hinderance for the time being especially when going for the level 4 dropkick, however when you charge the D Super Dropkick the handicap isn't as bad as you only lose the ability to st./cr./j.D and CD's. The only dropkicks worth doing are Lv3/4. Raiden has a lot of trouble with rushdown characters too. They can really become a problem while he's charging dropkicks. Also, characters with counters (Liz/Chin) have proven to be fairly useful. Lastly, Ash has a DM that seals ALL special/command moves and Special/Drive Meter for 10sec. During this time, the seal prevents the character from uses anything but normals and they can't gain any meter.

At least your comment makes sense. All this wishlisting for NESTS saga characters baffles me. The only characters that I could see being in the game first are the ones that were introduced in the Ash Saga. Momoko, Oswald, Malin, Adelheid and possibly Botan. At least, that's what would make sense but there might be some oldschool characters like Chang/Mary/Billy/Yamazaki that make it first.

Examu blog says something new with Arcana Heart is coming soon. Not sure if they mean it though. Could it possibly be Arcana Heart 4 or an update? Google Translate: "In the time of past, there is only ghost beginning." Does anyone know what this could mean?

If I ever play this I will be maining my girls Multi and Manaka. Though, I have to say, Manaka's slow movement might be a problem.

Even though I really like how Mileena(old main in the early 90s) looks in this game, I don't know if I would buy it. Game still looks clunky to me. The graphics are nice but I don't know if it will have anything more than that. *shrugs*

Wow. C'mon people. Where's all the gameplay discussion? I've been working on practical and cool stuff with Fenrir. Y'know the Geist that nobody picks(except me). Now bear with me here. Ignore what you may or may not know about this Geist being bad. Fenrir has some good stuff that just hasn't been explored yet. I've found that there are some guaranteed setups for block stun>mixup or just a shitload of raw damage if the person is mashing. Trying out stuff with a few characters for now. Then I'll move on to some more. I wanna learn as much stuff as possible for Fenrir. I wish I had video equipment to capture game footage so I could make a video for HC.com once.That is once I've finished compiling data on it. Well, I'll post some info in the coming days on the forums for now.

Yeah, I see your point with NIER. lol But I did find Vampire appropriate because a vampire was the main badguy. Then it made sense with Vampire Hunter/Savior as well. The main story involes Demitri and pretty much everyone wants a piece of him. but w/e /off-topic lol Dorothy is amazing if you put in the time with her to learn her Poker Hands. AH3's system works very well for Petra. Clarice has great sub abilities like Power Drain, Power Wound, Life Drain and good mix-ups. Angelia is simple but effective.

Unfortunately, it's just something that America does. I've always hated it. First time I think I noticed it was when I played Vampire. Then when the game got released here, it became Darkstalkers. Accompanied by that awful U.S cover. Then there was that shitty game NIER. This(JP) does not equal this(US) *sigh* oh well

Well, Arcana's story isn't mindblowing but I still like it a lot. I may like it too much cuz people think I'm playing this game for the story. :[ Story is just a bonus. When the game drops, I'm not gonna post shit about the story anymore. At least not for a long time. It's all about the gameplay for me. Can't wait to go into training mode.

Um..I think you may be confused. Mei-Fang did not have the Rosenburg Academy school outfit in the first two games because that school didn't even exsist yet. The school you're thinking of is Misono Academy. Which is a normal school. When Petra destroyed one of the Drexler Institute branches that was in Sagamihara, Japan, there were a lot of girls left that had been kidnapped by Drexler and had nowhere else to go. So because of this, the Holy Office of Western Europe: Rosenburg Branch decided to open up a boarding school for all the girls, calling it the Rosenburg Academy. Misono Academy: The outfit for the Misono Academy For Girls has a white top, red tie, and orange skirt. Heart Saki Maori Lilica Yoriko Kamui(doesn't wear Misono school outfit) Konoha Akane Nazuna Rosenburg Academy: The outfit for the Rosenburg Academy is black with red trim. Well, Love can be used with anybody as a beginner Arcana. That's always a good start. As for character specifics, Akane can work well with basically any arcana because she fights well on her own. Weiß works good with Space-Time for very good oki and loops. Heart seems to be good with Thunder as well. Now while suggestions are welcome, it's better to just experiment to find what Arcana/Geist works best for you. The game comes out in a few days so you won't have to wait long to test stuff out. That is, if your getting the game soon.

Then your heart may stop when you see Mei-Fang's winpose. She'll randomly transform her clothes into the Rosenburg school outfit. Which makes since because several characters, including her and Weiß, attend this school which is run by it's Chairman, Petra.

Cool. A new SC game. I never cared for create-a-character in any game. The designs for the characters given are already so great. Especially in SC. I just like to customizaton for the characters given like in VF. All that extra stuff is fine if the gameplay is good though. I hope they keep my fav characters like Tira, Zasalamel, Setsuka, and Hilde.
