Yeah delaying hits till after the rc slowdown lets you bypass the forced proration. It's not always possible but it's there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Instant kill combo cause I didn't see one listed. Near corner HD/j.H > c.S > 6P > 41236S, 2S > 214K (RC) activate > IK Need full tension. Works from training dummy set to 29 life. Tested on Slayer. Also throw > RC > activate > IK works everywhere if your opponents life is flashing afaik. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GGXXAC+ Rebalancing, Features, and Overall Wishlist Thread
Dracula X replied to Blade's topic in Guilty Gear General
just leave the game the way it is. if people have played it this long than it says something. but if not.. give me slash I-No -
I grew up playing at arcades when i could, but most of the time i'd be playing games with freinds on pad on a sega genisis, super nes, and playstation. I got really used to pad and stuck with it for a long time. I finally got a custom stick and never looked back. After a few years of building and using arcade sticks I found I prefer a Korean Taeyoung Fanta stick and Seimitsu buttons...unless i'm playing Gear or HNK which I can't play worth crap without a hard springed IL/Happ competition stick. I'm very odd according to the people I game with around here. I will say things like Kara-Demon in 3rd strike are waaaay easier on a stick. For me at least. It always comes down to preference. I had my ass kicked by plenty of pad players in the past, and even a few keyboard players back when i played GGXX #R on PC. Anything is possible.

The absolute easiest guide would be something like: 1. Get wood, cut it 2. make top panel ouf of same wood, drill it 3. glue it together 4. sand it 5. Paint it (optional) 6. insert buttons and stick pcb and wire it 7. play That's pretty much what i did on my first build. If you don't want to bother with that you can get a pre-made case and just do the buttons and wiring yourself. www.qcfgaming.com is a good choice for good priced boxes. They do ship internationally as far as i know. Hope that helped some. Ignore my guide if you want :P Some of my sticks http://yfrog.com/1qgedc0057j The Hrap has different buttons and artwork on it now and i've since built another one. i'll post pics as soon as i can find my damn camera

For modding you're hrap 3 with a vewlix layout your best bet would to get a replacement plexi panel. Specifically http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/?loc=products&cat=11&subcat=&item=115 you can see the vewlix layout there. Be absolutely sure you read http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/index.cfm?loc=about⊂=reppanel before you order anything. Art is a cool guy, he'll make sure you get whatever you need for your stick. If the technical side is too much for you, (it can be confusing) just send him an e-mail with what you want. As for the buttons. The ones that seem to be used most nowadays are sanwa obsf 30mm snap/screw ins and seimitsu clear buttons. Any 30mm button will fit in a hrap, TE, Namco, hori fighting stick, etc. As far as button stiffness, all Sanwa 30mm feel the same. Madcatz has some oddities with their sticks. I've modded a few TE's and while most were sanwa buttons, 2 were not. Sanwa buttons will have a sanwa label on the bottom of them. These 2 sticks (still sealed in box when i got them) had some type of sanwa knock off that were a bit more stiff to the touch, and no label on the bottom. Either madcatz made their own buttons or they accidentally used the buttons from the special edition fight stick they made. For getting sanwa buttons and different ball/batops I suggest www.lizardlick.com and www.gamingnow.net. Get whatever color of sanwa buttons you want and go from there. You might also try seimitsu buttons. My personal favorite button is white Seimitsu PS-14-GN. Feels almost identical to a sanwa as compared to other seimitsu buttons. If it's 30mm, it'll work. For the exact same buttons as a Hrap3 SA you would want to get white sanwa OBSF-30. Bubbletops look awesome. Meshballs are cool as well but they cost a bit more. Hope that helps some.

Sup Hue. I'm not sold on the wing infinite yet. If it's the X blockdash X then the opponent will eventually go to high for anymore to connect. The corner loop with 236 X/A will make you lose energy eventually so meh. Not that it matters since both will ko anybody anyway. I still play this online via zbattle from time to time. Hit me up if you wanna play sometime.

Actually he did. (K),S,HS charge cancel, dash, repeat. That plus a few other dumb ones. Kliff only has 1 infinite in GG that I know of and it only works on Justice and potemkin. His level 3 Y.A.D. does retarded damage, at least twice that of gamma ray. Probably a pointless post but it's just something I thought of.

Lost to Gold Johnny at 920 or w/e, damn that mist finer. Sucks cause I almost had him beat too. Testament seems to make survival kinda easy, since the AI doesn't block his web on wakeup 90% of the time. I'm gonna try again later to see if can beat that. -
[#R] GGXX#R: Known Online gameplay Issues
Dracula X replied to AyaImmortal's topic in Guilty Gear Online Play
I wouldn't say this a gameplay issue but whatever. 3 days ago i was able to connect to the servers and play people just fine. Now It shows that I connect to the servers but it shows no one on any of them at all. I know that can't be right. Anyone run into something like this? -
It's on the game's main menu as replay

I have no ggxx old file anywhere. I've gone as far as re-installing the game but still get the same results. Maybe i'll just spam the IRC channel. I dunno just I really want this to work. -

Um..help I followed the guide explicitly but came on this error. Anyone know what may be causing it? -
The parts in the T5 stick are actually pretty good out of box. Only mod it if you really want to. Actually it's probably ther best stick readily available on the US market.

Mine. Made by NiteWalker of www.Combovideos.com http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g217/NiteWalkerGR/draculax/100_0087.jpg and another view... http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g217/NiteWalkerGR/draculax/100_0089.jpg

Df still makes sticks btw to whoever said that. Just email him and set something up. Yeah Sanwa Stick and buttons are the best choice though not exactly cheap.
-
Nitewalker on www.Combovideos.com and Dreaded Fist of SRK fame do good work. Nitewalker does his stuff for a bit cheaper but DF has a better reputation (he's been around longer). I've never heard any complaints about sticks from either of them and actually should be getting mine from Nitewalker in the mail soon. Good luck and happy gaming :p
