You people are all too good. >_> I can't even dash or instant air dash at will with my arcade stick.

10/10 topic. I'm not good enough to contribute anything but do continue spreading the information as I am reading it all in and will practice when I can. xD

Yeah, I responded a bit to what he said in the video. Anyway, if you're worried about the DS infinite you should worry more about this Harms infinite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iJucxCx1H8 ^and trust me on this. DS may have weak normals and thus is balanced by his infinite, I guess. Harms on the other hand as awesome normals with amazing oki that can easily lead to his throw loop. Also his damage is pretty good with just 1-2 hit stuff. It's easy to win when you're Heavyarms. >_>

I switched from pad to stick about two months ago and I haven't looked back. Not for BlazBlue anyway. I think I may still prefer pad for SF4 but honestly, who cares about SF4 anyway? >_> <_< I still have some problems with IAD and 632146 motion but meh, I'm a lot better than I was when I started and I figure it'll just take more practice. Yeah... practice... I neglect that a lot. I don't have the fortitude to be practicing so much anymore. xD EDIT: yeah, as they said above, it's just personal preference... and SBO and if you have BB in an arcade nearby you can go there and play. For Carl mainers wondering about the pad, just map D onto one of the shoulder buttons. >_> Us Lambda players don't really have a need to be pressing more than one attack button at a time for combos unless you're RC, throw, burst, etc. In that event on a pad, they have shortcuts. xD

You won't need zbattle to play online. Just get onto MSN with me. xD zbattle just gives ZSNES players a lounge area which makes connecting to each other more easily. So long as your port for ZSNES is open for UDP and we know each other's IP address connecting is a cinch. Does mac have MSN? >_>

Bleh. I had a huge post written out to explain why you're incorrect but I figure it'll be easier and more fun this way. Theorizing is boring and pointless. archunitx@hotmail.com Let's take this to the game itself. Nothing better than empirical data. You might usually find me on zbattle.net as "Hue." Don't let yourself be fooled by smurfs though. It has happened before where someone has pretended to be me. If Hue is taken I will go with -Hue2 -Optimus -hamon Other than that, just add me to MSN. Whenever I'm on MSN it means I can usually go for a round or two of Gundam Wing. I'm really wanting to see your 1/2 life damage super from ZERO and I'll use Epyon's supers against you so you see you can't just counter every one with your own super and you'll get a nice bag of chips to chew on. Though from what you said you'll pick Epyon as well and super me back. Oh well. And you'll hopefully see that Scythe's supposedly "massive" invincibility window with his super is exactly the same as every other suit's super invincible frames. >_>

All supers come out at the same speed and there is a very noticeable flash before a super begins. What's very damaging is Wing pulling off a super reversal. All supers in this game are invincible during startup. Wing CPU Sandrock CPU Heavyarms CPU (and not so much but Deathsctyhe CPU as well) are annoying to fight because of their super reversals. Does incredible damage (I'm looking at you, Wing) and you've got unbeatable computer execution in it. Against Wing you can basically kiss half your life goodbye when you eat his super in the face. And that's the thing with Epyon's super. It doesn't need to be comboed into. It also does incredible chip damage. Hell, it does enough chip damage to put you at an advantage. All you have to do is catch them in the air with it when they're trying to approach. Two verniers wasted and they can't do anything about it anymore other than block and eat chip damage. Or put them in a corner (yeah, Epyon is good for that) and then back off about 1/2 screen and super them on wakeup. If you time it right it'll catch them in vernier and they eat chip, or they can sit on the ground and eat chips as well. Even better if they don't block. Or even do it when they're on the ground to restore energy, then do it again on their wake-up so they're forced to take more chip damage. Sandrock and WingZERO have arguably the two worst supers. You can vernier out of ZERO's in the middle of it. Basically ending with a free combo on him. Same with Rock's if you're fast enough to get out. Also, for having two beam rifles, ZERO's super is often one of the least damaging. Even when compared to Vayeate's or Tallgeese's. There seems to be a certain distance that the opponent has to be in for it to reach optimum damage, if you're not that exact distance away it'll barely scratch away 1/5 of your life in most cases.

Let me know when you want a match. Epyon with his super is indeed a cheating bastard. >_> Epyon without his super is just another notch on the tier list. We generally agree that the worst matchups (bottom tier vs top tier) is at best a 6:4 in Epyon's favor. The game is just incredibly balanced. And those a few above bottom (Sandrock, Heavyarms, Deathscythe) easily achieve a 5:5 against Epyon and Shenlong.

Although I've already posted this... http://www.zsnes.com/index.php?page=files ^get version 1.36 or 1.42 I prefer 1.36... 1.42 seems to work just as well www.zbattle.net ^works as a lobby for zsnes. You make a room, someone might join for the game you want to play, it does a quick rom check to make sure you both have the same game, then it lets you start. You both have to have the same version of zsnes. 1.36 or 1.42. Most people have 1.42. You'll have to find the rom on your own. archunitx@hotmail.com ^if you need any further help NOTE: if you have a router or whatnot you will most likely have to port forward. If you're stealing someone else's wireless internet it'll never work as you can't get to their router to port forward

Oh, god, I'm getting a guitar tomorrow. xD

Meh. I've downloaded mugen on like, eight different occasions. I can never figure out how to get it to work. >_>

I was walking around Gamestop last year of October 2009. I saw BlazBlue LE. I bought it on impulse thinking it would be a good game for my cousins and myself to play when we get together for whatever reason (and I was staying at my cousin's place for the season). My cousin and I tried out all the characters. We really liked the game. He mained Jin. I'm a rush-down kind of guy so I had originally loved Ragna, Litchi, and Nu. -Rachel was too awkward, I couldn't figure her out -I suck at 720/360 motions so Tager was out despite me loving his character design and his attacks -Bang was uh... a ninja? >_> Hotblooded ninja? Cool, but not my style -Jin, meh, ice car -Tao just was just... too hyper @_@ -Arakune, wtf? I thought he was like, bottom tier because I couldn't figure out how to do anything with him at all -Carl, I saw his immense potential but I didn't want to be like him and then he ended up being a counter trap or something like that, I dunno, I even had a d-pad scheme just to play him, I moved D to one of the shoulder buttons so I could hold D whenever I needed to and still easily press the other attack buttons -etcetc However, the more I looked at the game the more I fell in love with Nu. I mean, she was just wicked cool looking. Robotic, had a freaking bankai! xD Had swords floating behind her, had a blade attached to the end of her hair, had blades on her hands, her legs were just so damn sexy with that edge running right down them, and then the mono-eye V eye just sealed the deal. After about two days of maining Ragna I switched to Nu. Did I mention I love her robotic voice? Extinction. Everything... disappear! System startup. Why do you still stand? Even her Japanese voice was loveable. Muda. Hajimari to owari. So yeah... I mained Nu despite sucking at her play style. >_>

What the hell, DraculaX? What are you doing on dustloop? xD Did you migrate here from SRK or for BlazBlue? And the Wing one is an infinite. >_> You can get it to where the height will reset itself after each hit. Wing also has a corner infinite (timing for this is much harder than the mid-screen ground one though in my opinion. x_x) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOU3ZeaJa0Q Go to 2:36 for the corner infinite. 6:04 in the same link for the midscreen one. The timing of the hits manages to reset the height. Won't matter though because at that point any enemy will be dead anyway unless it's lvl1 Wing vs lvl8 Sandrock (as shown). Ku is ridiculous for figuring this one out. But then, his frame timings have always been better than mines even when I was at my peak.

My major gripe against Noel is her invincibility with her drive attacks and my bad reaction time. >_>
