  1. Yeah p. much, I also worked in a ton of colliders because they are unburstable, but once the nu p. much starts teching holding up on any 720/360 trap it becomes a bit harder to evade a burst, you can still do it though.
  2. Carl's command grab is total trash and no carl player I know uses it except to be a jerk and taunt with it. Also learn how to combo carl... like go in practice mode and try stuff, you still have good combos that end in magnet you just gotta cut them a bit shorter, basically it means your combos act like he is a normal health character .
  3. yeah they nu-13 player I play will eat my first combo, if he knows im not going to be able to keep pressure, and just bursts the next time im near him and he is at low health, he learned quicky than tager can and will 100% or at least 98% combo a bursted nu-13 so he might as well give himself 1 shot at escaping manually. Also I can't do this online consisntantly but barrier IBing, nu-13 4DD, then sledging if they are on auto-pilot mode, has seriously done some wonders for my approach.
  4. yeah I have been following this more lately, only with backdash spam against taos, and random colliders/5D to make them afraid of canceling just outside of range.

Yeah I just neutral tech noels all day to stay in close, and keep fishing for IB 360, noel is def the easiest character to do this too, also I love to crouch to bait that over head sweep move, because either A they are a scrub and with flip kick every time after this and are just asking for a 720, or they do something else which except for the slide behind hit(which is like the flip kick in punishablitly), or her 214A(free 360). Aka she has no options that put her in the air safely normally the first time I block and wait for the ineventable flip kick go behind or grab command, and I continue this strat until they decide to do a safe follow up then I block the last sweep and 720 the next time, this works well considering I normally don't play the same noel enough for them to realize this is all I do against them.

I am normally p. successful against nu's online, but like 2 weeks ago(just checked my mail now) I was experimenting with shit against an alright nu in ranked he PMed me saying jumping with tager against nu-13 is suicide, personally I don't know any other way to approach from full screen except straight IB(will never happen online.) So does anyone else know some way to approach from full screen I mean I know 5DD(IB this one),tager2d(lololol), and sledge though shit when they are retarted, and they can't punish it(unlikely cause every nu and their mom is trying to bait a sledge in my exp).

  8. Ahh so one player will super flash first even if the input is at the same frame...probably player 1.
  9. The effect of the above is that both players end up staring at each other until time runs out, okay until haku has meter he moves in uses his meter pulls out, god do I hate that match.

Yeah you can do that, its just really hard I would suggest during a multihit attack like that blocking a hit normally starting buffering the 720, IB during the 720 motion and then 720, well thats what I said earlier you can do it without doing this but its harder im not sure which way mikeZ did it.

Actually no for jins string its a solid block string as long as you don't IB, so make sure you arn't IBing 4123698(741-one of these will IB), 9C, just don't forget to shortcut the input sometimes I do it at the wrong time and I don't get an IB but whateves not like anything happens if you mess it up in that manner.
  13. Ya can't rapid cancel a move that whiffs buddy.' and like said above you could press it before the move connects either on block or hit.

Must get over 100 press's in 10 seconds to get the prize But if its airunblockable does that mean we could.... collider, B-sledge, A-sledge(whiff), AH, and catch the tech regardless of whether they hold up or not, incase you didn't know you can totally bait the 720 by neutral teching and holding up, of course you can just collider but thats the mixup, if this makes it a 100% chance then it would be p. cool.
  15. The list would be far longer than the combo list. Something we do need is a list of moves that sledge goes though, like ragna's 214D hahaha.
  16. actually on magnetized oppenent, maybe not magnetized too but I have problems hitting it. CH j.2C, 2B,2C,5D,spark,5C,6A,2C,collider works I believe. the important think to know is after a j.2C(counter hit), or a j.2C,RC,j.2C you can do an OTG combo and it does a fucking lot of damage. Can't you also after CH B sledge,6C,collider,Bsledge,2B,2C,collider,(doesn't work on lighties obviously). also CH B 6A,2C,5D,spark,5C,6A,2C,collider or CH B sledge, 6C,collider, spark, 5C,6A,2C,collider Im not sure which does more damage I haven't checked.
  17. Just practice block 360A grabbing then block 720ing some block stings in training, someone posted a ragna one earlier. I would suggest jin for starters you can 720 off ice car which is easy and can sadly be used against about 50% of the jins you play online . After that try buffering 720's off of some of his pressure strings like instant airdash j.BC and the sort. also get good at 720ing out of jins CCCCCCCC move if you can do that you can buffer 720s out of alot of people when they start going 2AAAAAA to push you away a bit.
  18. We really need to update the top guide with some mention of some more combos off of j. 2C. They do solid damage and I find myself landing them a decent bit. That and both these RC combos do loads of damage. j.2C,RC,j.2C(really low),2B,2C....followup of your choice. Against airbound oppenent your height or higher(hard and rare) j.2C,RC,5C,6A,2C,Collider...followup of your choice.

  21. Really that shit has been working all day for me, IDK how many people fall for that shit, then you train them to not tech, and get free extra hits, or just drop the combo low in a corner and they are screwed, 5A/5B(during tech),720...

Wow I love how in like the last week my entire tager stratagy into once I hit you is trick you into thinking I dropped the combo, ohh lol I didn't I was just buffering a 720. collider whiff on magitized oppenent is still the most flashy, but whiffing a A sledge or 5C rules, IDK how many times, I combo into spark but im at the hit count so the next one will not combo 5C, 720C :smug:

  24. Basically if you see hakumen seal flash 360A on reaction works like a charm but yeah don't spam it unless you see a seal flash.
  25. Also hey SolBadass, just IB the 43216D for like 25% meter, seriously man you have no idea how many carls start out the match with 2 of those then forget I already have enough meter for 720, or magentic tech wheel, or hell, a glorious RC combo for mother russia.
