What're the optimal combos for midscreen gunblaze, midscreen CH fafnir into running c.S, and Lvl3 BRP on robo-ky? I'm having trouble getting the JI combos to connect because of his high weight and fucked up air hitbox.

What can you do when you're stuck at the tip of slayer's 5K range? Most of my pokes that reach at that range are getting stuffed, and attempts to IAD or jump in are getting met with a 5P or 2S to stuff them. Also, when you work Slayer into the corner, how do you stop reversal forward teleports to keep him in the corner? I can punish them most of the time it's just not the optimal corner damage I would hope for instead of a basic BnB midscreen.

I guess next you won't win EVO or get invited to godsgarden because you can't play on a stick or arcade setup. It's your own problem if you don't have a controller, buy a fucking xtokki and an inpin like everyone else. If you actually came to weeklies for anything or asked nicely you might even be able to borrow from the many many pad players we have who use this setup. I like to keep my fingers over B+D at fullscreen range to DP any fullscreen coup on reaction. Instant blocking is really important to create grab out chances during her close range corner strings. Don't try to randomly DP through pressure, it's really baitable with backdash or jumpcancels. Being able to get in on mits seems to center around how well you can bait out and punish 2B anti-air attempts. Yomi double jump into j.C is the hotness as getting FC'd out of 2B will make her second guess any braindead 2B AA attempts.

Got top 4 in Persona in tournament today, who gives a shit about anime cons. Alright, so I've talked to the guys at magic stronghold and they're ok with us running ranbats there, so if you guys can pick a time that's good for everyone that'd be great. Who's coming to Throwdown 3? Marvel is getting streamed by canadian joysticks and we'll be streaming KoF13 in-house so far, might change if KoF goes on long enough for us to put it on the main stream. I don't actually remember the number of setups off the top of my head, but there will be enough for a ps2, if we don't already have one setup. Bring legit games or SFU will get ad at you.

all you gotta do is E-mail in and say what you want to play "Pre-registering for Casuals" When you get there we'll ask for your pre-reg number; we're closing it at 8AM, but that may also be when you get your number because Eric needs to sleep sometime (I don't). EDIT: you only get a placement number for event games, for casuals you just tell us at the door.

We only got 4 people indicating they were coming for CS2, so we're running casuals all day long both days rather than an event, it'll be on 360, we have all the DLC chars. Paying the venue fee will get you in for all the side games all day both days, and if you e-mail in NOW you can still get the $10 pre-reg price. I know for sure that there will be at least one person worth playing, since Blazeblue Guy is coming and he's pretty good.
