So i wanted to grab a cheap arcade stick to mod http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Arcade-Fighting-Joystick-Playstation-3/dp/B0015PHMFU/ref=pd_cp_vg_0 I am pretty sure this will work just fine but i heard on some reviews that the games won't register the actual joystick and only the buttons will work. any confirmation?

No but i am interested, playing GG again has reminded me why I fell in love with fighting games in general. What days do people go to these places?? I am certainly interested in getting AC :O I am running weekly casuals on Tuesdays at Fat Ogre Games & Comics for a couple other games ( SSBM and SSFIV ) and I really wanted to start running GG if anyone is interested in coming??

This is one of the greatest guides I have ever read for any fighting game character. More people need to play this game

yeah outdated java, just retook the test again different server and like I said, I am trying EVERY available room and it says i cant connect because of my connection quality....

For all the time I played casually at friends houses and thought i was going to main noel or platinum, i find myself in love with hakumen, lol Also, every room says i cant join because of connection requirements, even ones labeled '1', and my connection on my computer/laptop is near godly :\

If anyone lives in north houston every tuesday at Fat Ogre Games and Comics there is Blazblue, street fighter, and melee being done. Aside from melee and street fighter everyone is new to blazblue so I was hoping some one would be interested in whoopin' our butts to motivate us!

Is it normal to want to bash your face into your arcade stick while trying to get used to hakumen/2d fighters in general. I finally got this game after been spouting how i want to play, and I love it and can tell i am getting better at learning my little noobie fundamentals, but its almost like i am more technically sound at the beginning of my training and it gets harder the longer i practice, for as silly as that sounds. My xbl is gone since i am a poor man, aside from training mode, is it better to just play humans once a week at our weekly arcade meetup ( and whenever i can get people to come over ) or is there any merit in fighting computers at all ( to get used to trying to perform combos under pressure, getting better at countering, etc. , etc. ) or would that do more harm than good??

Why does hakumen have to look like such a hardass..? I am trying to live up to my weeaboo moe standards and learn platinum, and it's hard when everytime I go to character select I say "OH SHI ------- Hakumen is in this game, that's right!" -_- Also why does japan have cooler color selects than us? I suppose they'll be released eventually.

I am assuming like most fighting games you will be able to switch between english and japanese? I wouldn't even ask if it wasn't for Persona 4 not allowing for japanese w/ subs.
