Speaking of Mikami, I got Vanquish this morning from PA, it came with the limited weapons pack too.

Apparently Zenimax is still allowing Mikami to do whatever he wants (just as long as it's for Zenimax I guess, no more freelance).

So word on the street is that Zenimax (owner of both Bethesda and id Software) has purchased Shinji Mikami's company Tango, and with Tango Shinji Mikami himself. No word on how the negotiations went down, but from the looks of it (and especially how Zenimax said no to id Software licensing out id Tech 5 to non-Zenimax companies), Shinji Mikami's days of doing freelance could be over (Vanquish was only freelance work he did for Sega and Platinum Games, and Shadows of the Damned is also freelance work for him as well). The good news is with Zenimax, he'll actually have an actual marketing budget and he will be able to use id's brand new id Tech 5 engine (as seen with RAGE, it's a beastly engine that doesn't have the stupid flaws of UE3); however, on the flip side, he might be forced to use the incredibly shitty Gamebryo Engine that Bethesda uses for its games, now that may not be the case, but still it's a horrible possiblity. =x

For whatever reason I feel like playing HNK again and even go as far as learning how to play as Shin properly. EDIT: Too bad the PS2 port is ass though, but AWs and the HNK cart have been dropping in price lately, hhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Okay, beaten two bosses so far, your boss battles range from DMC style to GOW style to SOTC style, and I haven't figured out how the chain system works yet. After you beat each boss you gain a new ability (like Megaman) and you can pick stages (like Megaman). I personally found things easier when I got the lance upgrade first, after that the wings. Apparently you can get the punch combo upgrade (HYAKURETSU KEN!!!!) in one of the other stages, so I'll probably do that next. The stages get progressively harder after you beat each stage, crazy bitch with firesword raped my character with one combo. lol Production values, music, gameplay, just in general are incredibly high for a game that is only 800Yen. lol

This is probably the best 800Y game I've bought. :D

Kinda interested in it now, oh and apparently it's getting rereleased in Japan as Hokuto Musou International for ps3, it adds all the stuff from the US version (additional English dub lol, gameplay fixes, new stage, more gore), not to mention it has all the DLC on disc and it's a budget release. I can lend you End of Eternity or something.

Actually I can sell my fat psp 1000 (I take back the whole I have to buy a PSP thing since my situation has changed), I also have a pandora battery/magicstick to put hacks on it as well. EDIT: Thinking about putting my Homebrew Channel Wii on the block too. EDIT AGAIN: Unless things change, I'm probably going to put up my iPhone 3G 16GB up on craigslist, but if anyone is interested I would give them a discount compared to what I would sell it on craigslist.
