I spoke with SFU today apparently they don't consider BCIT a school and after speaking with them they have to reevaluate the situation with my BCIT transfer credit. Which if they do not accept any of my BCIT transfer credit, I have to consider other options since it would take longer to complete my BA without said credit. After work tomorrow I'll drop by Kwantlen.

Hey Mike, Netflix is available now in Canada for PS3 (Americans get it for PS3 next month due to Microsoft exclusivity contract ending next month), there's a free trial for one month attached to it. Can see all the hubbub for this service now I guess. It's available on the What's New part of the XMB to install, it's 19MB. This isn't really just for Mike, for all PS3 owners anyway.

More Move Impressions: Sports Champions Demo: The demo had Table Tennis or as I like to call it, Ping Pong, very accurate, like playing real ping pong, and if you are good at real life ping pong your skills will transfer to this as well. I'm not very good at ping pong but the computer ai in the demo was pretty bad so that balances out. The other sport in the demo was disc golf, basically golf but with a frisbee, again very accurate and shows off the Move quite nicely. Unfortunately my bedroom setup is not perfect for these types of games, well Ping Pong is fine but I ended up standing up anyway because I got quite into it. But yeah, I will keep the bundle, I read on Neogaf how awesome the gladiator portion is as well as the archery, now I just have to sell off the second Eye. Ruse Demo: It's cool, and the Move is like a 3D mouse, but I was overwhelmed really quickly and just quit as I had no idea what I was doing. I can see this working for RTS games but it'll take some getting used to I guess since it's all zany and crazy. Like the other Ubisoft demo I deleted this post haste. Kung Fu Rider Demo: I'm sorry Ray and Chuck, but this game is not very good, the novelty is nice but it's not worth $40, it would be better as a PSN download game really. I'm not going to bother opening KFR and just return it tomorrow to Best Buy to get my refund. :psyduck::psyduck: echochrome II Demo: Absolutely fucking brilliant, I don't know how they topped the original's concept but they did. I can't wait for this to show up on PSN. : Still downloading the other demos, but yeah sorry guys, no Kung Fu Rider for me. Good thing I downloaded those demos off the Euro PSN or else I would have had horrible buyer's remorse with Kung Fu Rider. EDIT: I played The Shoot demo, it's okay but gives you an idea about light gun games for Move. Pretty good from what I played, The Shoot itself reminds me of those shooting gallerys with the cutouts jumping out. It has unlimited ammo and no reloading so that takes away from it.

Got a Move on Friday, I've tested some demos: Racquet Sports Demo: I didn't try the badminton demo within it only the tennis, but it's pretty much like Wii Sports tennis, you only control the movement of the racquet I think. It has Xbox NXE Avatar looking characters for whatever reason. I deleted this already. lol Tumble Demo: Pretty cool, it's like Jenga in some of the trials and in others you blow stuff up. It's only $9.99 on PSN so I'll probably pick it up later. EyePet Demo: It's pretty neat, I was actually tempted to import Eyepet last year from Euroland (pre-Move, Eyepet had cards you would draw on, so it was like Eye of Judgement basically). I got as far as the drawing a plane and flying the plane part. If I was a child or had children or was into virtual pet things this would be a purchase. Good thing I passed on it last year and will do so this year. I downloaded the Ruse Demo as well but haven't tried it yet. Today I bought Kung Fu Rider and the Sports Champions Bundle giving me another Move (and unfortunately another Eye which I do not need, I've had an Eye since I think 2007, originally bought for augmented reality PSN games which I stopped caring about fast, but also kept it for Burnout Paradise, but again never used it for BP, same applied to LBP when I had that game). I've downloaded some more demos off Euro PSN, two of them being Kung Fu Rider and Sports Champions, if I'm not sold on those demos, I'll return both to Best Buy. Currently downloading Move demos for: Start The Party! The Shoot Beat Sketcher TV Superstars Sports Champions Already downloaded Move demos: Eyepet - Played Racquet Sports - Played/Deleted tumble - Played Ruse Kung Fu Rider echochrome II I'm really hyped for echochrome II btw, I loved the original, and the new one uses move for really cool stuff using light and darkness and other stuff like that I saw in a trailer awhile back. Prior to purchasing Move, I already had Move compatible games: [*]RE5 Gold Edition [*]Heavy Rain [*]High Velocity Bowling [*]Flower Hopefully they patch Toro to Morimori as well. :D So basically I got Move to have better controls for RE5G, although I will admit, I did eventually get used to the shitty tank controls originally and ended up enjoying RE5 (back then vanilla) a lot, get pass its ridiculous plot and shitty controls, the game is quite fun as it is a very arcadey RE4 with 2 players. Also to make use of the PS Eye which I've had doing nothing for the past 3 years or so. I'm also looking forward to Time Crisis Raizing Storm (which is Fully featured/updated Raizing Storm, Arcade TC4 and that pirate game I forget what it's called). Other than that, nothing else at the moment. I hope EA adds Move to Dead Space 2, but at the very least I can play Dead Space Extraction HD with Move which is bundled with the PS3 DS2. Killzone 3 will be interesting with Move as well and I'm looking forward to that as I liked Killzone 2 last year. I wish Sega would make a House of the Dead collection already with HotD4/HotD4SE/HotDEX with someone Rambo added in for fun. Namco can somehow create another bundle of light gun games that includes the Space Cobra game they made as well. I'm also hyped for Sega AM3's return to Tennis greatness in POWER SMASH 4 [Which resulted in Sumo Digital getting the boot after doing the very shitty and buggy Virtua Tennis 2010 or whatever they tried to pass off as POWER SMASH] (Virtua Tennis 4 for the west, even though nowhere near as cool as POWER SMASH 4) which so far has only been announced for PS3/Move. Although, Power Smash 3 had motion controls already (with Sixaxis), which was amusing and a novelty for about 5 minutes. I quickly went back to the joystick as I play POWER SMASH traditionally at the arcade (still have my Nadal and Roddick cards for VT3, too bad CHQ removed the card reader thus making them useless =/). My personal opinion for Move, it's basically a better Wiimote (even with Motionplus), so it's cool but your opinion on Move will be based on how you feel about Wiimote or motion controls in general. If you like Nintendo's implementation, you'll like Sony's as well, and vice versa. PS Move = Wii HD. If I end up keeping the Sports Champion bundle, I have to sell that extra PS Eye. lol

Most recent released game? Probably Lost Planet 2. Monhun Nikki = From Software (lol) Last Ranker = Image Epoch SSF4 Old Challengers Edition = Dimps MvC3 = eighting Dead Rising 2 = Blue Cas..err Capcom Studio Vancouver Actually since it's now Capcom Studio Vancouver, you can say Dead Rising 2 (Code Zero and West) are all made inhouse at Capcom. lol Gabe, part of Capcom's then distribution/publishing deal with Rockstar in Japan was related to Capcom's sale of Angel Studios (and the then incomplete Red Dead Revolver) to Rockstar.

Why would ICO and SotC not be PS3 exclusive? Considering those are Sony games made in-house, it's like being surprised that the next Mario game is exclusive to a Nintendo platform. Anyway some neat, okay, and then loloworthy Capcom news from TGS news. Neat: Capcom buys Blue Castle Games, apparently BCG will be renamed Capcom Studio Vancouver. But the last time Capcom had Western studios they were either shut-down (Maximo/FFStreetwise devs) or sold off to Take-two (Angel Studios who were rebranded Rockstar San Diego, yes Red Dead Revolver was originally a Capcom game, Akira Yasuda of Street Fighter II and King Gainer fame did the original character designs for James Marsden and friends). Although with DR2, BCG should be fine with Inafune with its new overlord, and hopefully should not expect the same fate as that US Capcom Production Studio (shitcanned) or being sold to Take-2 (which is almost the same as being shitcanned). Decent: Capcom teams up with CCC2 to make Asura's Wrath, looks like Capcom's take on the GoW style action game. Runs on UE3 so looks like CCC2's Naruto engine stays with Naruto. trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGw3hKkDmD8 lmao: Capcom gives Devil May Cry over to LOL Ninja Theory, game is retitled DMC, and Dante is now brought up to modern fashion and style as per NT's Tameem I forget his last name: lololololol Twilight Dante. edit: video for lolDMC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2P59MKUZEM0 edit again: in non Capcom news, Ninjadog Hayashi and Koei-Tecmo announce NG3 behind closed doors at TGS. And continuing with them, Koei's PS3 Ni-Oh game apparently still exists and Team Ninja is helping out Koei with the combat portion now. edit again again: Grasshopper Manufacture/Shinji Mikami's EA game is Shadows of the Damned: http://www.ea.com/shadows-of-the-damned/videos/announcement-trailer
