I think you got your inputs wrong. 236C is never used for oki and doesn't gatling into 214C.

Cause Relius doesn't need a open thread for combos. His optimal strings are very limited. We all agreed on keeping his list small and to the best optimal ones possible. If people have stuff to contribute to spots missing combos in it they can here.

Your best luck on matches is asking around the online section ( http://www.dustloop.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?95-BlazBlue-Online-Play ) in the respected threads for each console. Now for high level players and mods together, my stream is the only thing with that imo atm.

Ah ok. Yea his mixup is eh. That's why I started trying out double crossup meterless setups but atm that's only working like 20% of the time on people. 2D is backdashable? Yo ughhh. Bad enough LK makes my 214A look like a toy and my 214B a easy back jump to avoid. I get so much of my damage from AA 2C and throwing people into the corner. 6A so many people aren't punishing. Jyosua fucking 2A's it during startup when I try it on him at least. :/

Thanks, I use to enjoy watching one or two of the PSN players but people gradually stopped putting up videos on it to see. I try to watch every Relius match that comes out but honestly isn't any im a fan of so to speak. Nothing I see out of Japan for competitive Relius's is new or exicting anymore. I enjoy some of the stuff Kamoihito puts out though but he doesn't show his matches just combos and random tech.

@Guardian What were you having problems with against Ragna? Ive done a decent amount of matches against SKD's and it didn't feel like a bad matchup. O.o

<3 Dude you were getting good for a minute not abusing it but when I got you on stream you were spamming it everywhere. The opponent whiffed standing normals from far away and you were reacting with whiff 4D's. People started counting it in chat. Don't quit just fix your habit. :/

Powered hdmi splitter and hdfury I can agree with. Recorders though it's AVerMedia or BlackMagic. Anything else is outdated or not worth the cost in the consumer market.

I know im most likely overrating Litchi cause it's LK but I still have MAJOR problems in that matchup. Valk yea I most likely underrated. I played him some in CS1 so im familar alittle but I think it was mainly certain players being alittle rusty with him.

What Litchi you played TD with your Relius? Cause St1ckbug and I have played LK countless times and complain of the matchup. Next time time I get you in the stream with him I want you to show me how it's done cause I just get punished repeatedly. For Lambda same thing, who did you play? Im not taking in random Lambda x in the matchups. I have blown up random Lambdas but that was because they werent good or didn't know how to deal with Relius. So you saying to be defensive the whole time until she does a charge? Hmm that'll alittle too passive for my liking but ill give that a shot next time I go against Toan.

Tager is 5:5. Ive heard of your complaining of it and honestly I don't see it. Ive played Axis and we both agree it's even. What Mu players have you faced and give your opinion on it?

Maybe I need more experience in it but playing against Toan's Lambda felt like a straight up hill battle for me. Her long range pressure keeps you locked out from doing Ignis specials as a entry. Her movement speed can easily make your entry game with normals be very difficult to get in. Air-to-Air she wins clean with j.C. Some of Lambda's ground setups can be avoided with Led Ley but the timing is very strict to avoid completely and punish. If you can get her into the corner early it's not bad but getting those starting hit confirms seems difficult.

Ill never put Shadow on a list as he doesn't stick with a character. He has been quit again. I only see the one from acho and I believe game41 sometimes. With a random every so often. That was why I uploaded PSN Ranked ones to bring in more gameplay of Relius from a decent level. No need to put in their own category. Too many picked him up then dropped him. In a couple months when a good perspective of who stuck with him and is worth noting we'll do it.

Threw together a Relius matchup chart. Note this is my opinion from my almost 600 player matches with some of the best EC players of NA. If you have watched my stream you know what kind-of players hop in to fight. This is early NA so subject to change as I become more familiar with the match and both sides improve. Mu, Lambda, and Valkenhayn I haven't had too many matches of so they are the most likely to move up or down. Try to get comfortable using his 5B, 2B, and 2A normal starters. His 5B is better than most people think. Using Ignis specials as your only entry really limits yourself and will get you no where in high level competition. I started my Relius style playing him like Lambda, send out long range then entered in, then after playing better players and getting it punished I had to step up my neutral game with normals greatly. Also ending midscreen hitconfirms into 3C > 214C, which will either punish a bad tech into 3.7k combo easy or give you huge crossup/mixup potential. Also I love 2C AA midscreen, and Back Throw when my back is in the corner. I swear so much of my damage comes from those two situations.
