Need to learn this match up too instead of going Tager lol but its just so annoying playing Noel's because like 90% of them spam DDDDDDDDD so as Tager its easy to beat them but as Tao...

dont know if this has been mentioned yet but I've played a Litchi player who did like the same 4moves to me and I wasn't able to escape it. I'd tech and I'd be back in the combo, I tried delaying the tech but then that just allows her to continue the combo anyways. The player mostly did this in the corner but I believe he was still able to preform it outside of corner (could be wrong) There seemed to be nothing I could do to escape what he was doing. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? what am I doing wrong? is there a way to escape it that I wasn't doing?

yeah I feel ya this match up is a pain. The only thing I've gotten from it was to watch for his j.4C cross up. He can do like a pressure string into j.4C which happens faster then you can say "BIG SOVIET DAMAGE!!" I'm always looking at his nail count hoping he runs out but before that happens I'm K.O'd. Don't get to play against them much so can't really give any good advice. Just watch for cross ups. x.x

Litchi is a pain for me. I've never lost to one seeing I don't play against them much but from the ones I've have played and beaten I was able to tell she'll be tough to play against when played by someone who knows what they're with her. but this info it good. I've recently played with all the characters for a bit to get to know there moves so its a matter of playing this match up more and using this info to help me win.

In this match up I do my best to hit 720. Learning all the ways to hit Tager's 720 is key. I don't know how to do that special 720 link MikeZ does when he Atomic Collider to get the opponent down to his feet while buffing 720 (well I can do it but not in a real match as of yet) so I mostly go for the Atomic Collider>Sledge B> Sledge A (the sledge A will miss but its used to get you closer) buffer the 720 while doing Sledge A and when the opponent wakes up your catch them. Works on a lot of opponents and its not difficult to perform.

whats the best way to escape frozen? I usually rotate my joystick in a circle and its gets me out quick but I end up taking the next attack anyways because of that short sec I'm not blocking

From what I've tried in training going by what 99% of the Haku's I play who mostly just air dash J.C you can 5C before his attack comes out (you have enough time) land a counter hit then 5C again Atomic Collider and so on. If he super jumps and goes for the J.C (5C won't hit him at this distance) you can either 2C him if you put it in at the right time your attack will come out before his J.C and land a counter hit or you can Atomic Collider him right out the air. Or you can try the backdash 360A from what I've seen on youtube it works but you have to time it right and if your as bad as timing that as I am then your go for the 5C which is just as good. I actually IB a J.C from Haku and he was still able to land his 5B before my 2A came out which really hurt my feelings...

I liked Pot (insert joke here) in GG so naturally

Ah I don't want to seeing how boring they are but I guess ima have to really play the rest of the characters to see what there moves are because reading a lot of these topics is like trying to read Spanish without knowing what moves you all are talking about. Tao does get a lot of hits in on me but I'm always surprised whenever I start dealing damage to see how fast she's losing health.

yeah I have to admit its a darn tough match for us Tager's but every match is uphill. I just got done playing a Nu and he pretty much perfect me. We played at least 6 games and I lost all 6. I could tell he was learning quick (even tho he was owning me) how to own me even more lol. I'll just have to become a mind reader then.

This should help anyone who doesn't know what they're talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5bQgxJjpZM&feature=channel_page

Its darn useful. Sitting on it will keep your opponent guessing and hitting it allows you to do massive combo damage. If they happen to block it you still have them magnetized at the least. Its hands down his best move. (I know it has other great uses as well)

Good to know a Airthrow combo. I was wondering what I could do after it.
-
Yeah lol I'm still waiting on someone who knows to answer the question AlmightyGnat but from what I've been doing in training you can air tech it at some point the most she will hit is maybe 6 but I'm not 100% this could of just been due because I missed the timing on the hits. Anyone with more knowledge wanna help us fellow Tager mains with this question?

Mike Z or anyone else who knows. Is there anyway to escape Litchi's move where she stand on her pole and kicks continuously? because it seems once im hit by it I can't air tech it or anything and the combo numbers keep racking. Is it that the move is inescapable once it hits and the player times each hit correctly? If there anyway to escape this move after being hit other then guard burst please let me know. Thanks in advance
