Yeah you're probably right there honestly. I was thinking somethings like... 6HS HFB FRC 6HS, or 6HS HFB FRC 6P > air combo. But you can probably do that second one even after the HF hits. And 6HS loops would be much less useful now that they don't do shit for stun damage anymore.

It's really hard, but after hitting the 5D, you have to do the first j.HS as soon as possible, then continue to hold up (so you get a dust jump cancel) and then double jump immediately to cancel the dust jump, then hit j.HS. The second j.HS gives you the impossible dust setup, and you fall down to the ground. The timing is really crazy though, maybe only 2-3F room for error in the whole thing? In regular AC, you could do: 5D > j.H > jc, dj, j.H |> 5H 632146H, 6H 623H ... Which is ~230 damage (vs Sol) for 50% meter and a whole lot of stun. Honestly though I'm super lazy and just impossible dust by doing: 5D > jc, dj, j.H |> Which is a bit less damage but 10x easier to do. I guess now you might be able to get some other types of air loops instead though, maybe something like ... 5D > jc, dj, j.H |> 6P > sjc.P j.K j.S j.H ...... Give that a try and see if you can come up with some interesting stuff. Someone told me Potemkin had some really nasty new corner combos in ACPR but I haven't seen them yet, maybe if anyone sees any videos of FAB, see if he does anything crazy. His Hammerbreak FRC stuff is pretty tough execution wise but seems like it would be very useful once you had it down. Anyone tried doing stuff with corner 6HS -> Hammerbreak FRC yet?

It's not too hard to avoid most of 355 if you're already in the vicinity of Rockville. But 270N is always a nightmare of course. Pat, yes you definitely can do 2D HF Break FRC 5K. Thank god.

For dust combos, can't you still do the old 5D > j.H > jc, dj, j.H |> ground combo ? No idea how the damage works out since I don't have +R on my console yet, but it's hard to beat 2x j.HS in terms of a starter for damage.

Is there a way to buy Japanese games on a US account on PSN or do you need to just make a Japanese account for it? I don't have any copy of AC+ on modern console yet so I could buy it, but I'd rather wait and keep everything together on my US account if I can.

Yeah I was wondering about that part too. It's hard to tell how the physics on them work now exactly, but it definitely seems like they have a degree of deceleration, and will ricochet differently from how they used to. I wonder if there's a limit to how many start-stops you can get, or if the balls maybe just have a timed life span or something like that. -

I was thinking the same thing but then I saw Potemkin could YRC his 6K or Hammerfall before they hit and then I realized the RC Flash is probably for the best. I mean the idea of being able to do something like, c.S 2D YRC Throw with no flash at all would be pretty nuts. What makes them more react-able is the RC Flash (similar to a super flash). That gives you the time to react. Presumably you will still be able to input things as normal even during slowdown, so you could still jump out or reversal backdash or whatever. He has the old 6HS, the two hit frame advantage one. Definitely yes on that first part. Second part I haven't been able to tell by eyeballing yet, still looking. Oh yeah, I have a really dumb question. Has anyone seen/heard how Venom's ball formations work in this game? Are they classic XX layout? AC? Or totally different now? -

Oh hey, it looks like there are idle taunts in the game now? Just noticed in one vid that Potemkin does an idle taunt before a round starts. Things like that? Totally pointless, but I fucking love them. -

I think you're onto something here with the RC colors, it would remind me a little of HnK. Doing a pre-cancel (before active, or with fireball) gives you a longer period of time slowing. Doing a post-cancel (on wiff) gives you a very short period of time slow. Looks like doing it on hit gives you a long time too (see May's throw cancel RC). And yeah I was wondering the same thing about Potemkin, his hair is brown. So it's probably a helmet tassel. -

The game looks a fair bit slower because hitstop is a lot longer. That's something that's very tweakable before release though, should they choose to do it. Also noticed from that video, Potemkin's new 6K tackle causes Stagger on CH. YIKES. I wonder if it's safe/advantage/cancelable on block? That shit could be scary as hell if it is. -

Hey ElvenShadow, not sure if you'll get a chance to go back or not, but any chance you could check or ask if Potemkin Buster or Heat Knuckle can be YRCed on wiff? Guessing not, but the possibilities if so are pretty hilarious. Not that it matters much since that stuff is all very possible to change before release, but just for humors sake. -

RCing doesn't slow down the person doing them, so you can still use them offensively to create mixups. They only slow down everything else, which means they will probably actually be even better for offensive purposes.
