  1. Oh... the designers knew about it after X1/X2 or one of those games, and left it in. In XXS, a lot of moves now automatically allow you to air dash/double jump after them, so JI on them becomes pointless. As far as I know, you still have to JI if you want to do the super double jump.

  3. On is good because it resets to the Butterfly mixup very well. You don't really get that much damage just from the combo extension, and AFAIK they always get a tech out if you do one. Potemkin > Venom > Sol > Axl > Everyone else. You should probably take this to the Anji forum as we're way off topic at this point, they probably know better than me anyway.

  7. Yes you can do that first combo just fine, I do it all the time off an air throw. S JI S > sjc.S P S > jc.S P S D You can do it off that other setup, you are just mistiming it.

  11. What would installing a superjump state do? AFAIK you can't do it, because you wouldn't be able to double jump or anything (if you super jump, then you have no double jump). AFAIK, all you can do is superjump after some install, thus you get a super jump with a double jump. I think if you did a SJ as your install, it would just act as a normal JI. I'll test when I get home I guess.

  15. Yeah, Clash causes a long clash pause effect on both players. Not sure if this is a game-wide pause or if projectiles can continue to move during it (I would bet they do). Clashs seem to give you a huge tension bonus. If you just clash together a string of moves, both players will soon have full tension.

  17. Yeah the clash counts as the hit, so j.D wont just go through and hit on the next frame (wow that would be nice). Only way it could is if you had a move that hit multiple times (Anji's j.214P is a good example).

  19. Any time two hit-boxes colide but neither colide with any hittable-boxes, you get a clash (assuming both are physical hits capable of clashing). It lets you cancel the move into anything else (Need to FD to block though). It doesn't change the properties of the moves otherwise.

  23. I would think having your name on a list of the best players in the US would be worth a bit, at least. I guess that doesn't mean much to some people though. You don't have to have everyone in the same place at once, but you'd eventually have to have everyone play everyone else, and that would be pretty difficult if you've got half of your best on the EC and the other half on the WC. The problem is that there's just no money involved, and fighting game players are, as a rule, poor as fuck.
