Anyways, I've been concentrating on watching CS1 videos to help me get back to my old power level before I started playing on stick. No, it's like IB'ing except easier. Just need to mash back and 2 attack buttons at the same time. Very useful against physical supers to prevent chip damage. If you want to punish though I would suggest block and KFC into your move if it's that serious.

So very true. Also Capcom said they will be working on and AE for MVC3. They just wanted to push the console edition of the game first and for most since it reaps the most profit, AE's don't bring in that much income in comparison to console releases according the what's-his-name.

Need help with this match up severely. I don;t care if I look free right now. But I need to figure out how to approach her, as well as what to punish. Her projectiles due to her wind are very difficult to predict and cut, especially in the air. Our city's rachel player knows all of his match ups, especially the hakumen one. But I don't know exactly how to deal with rachel to be honest. Thanks.

50% mashing from Lambda, 50% yomi from the hakumen, 40% reaction based play, and 10% luck. I'll still give him credit where it was due, reactionary drives against lambda's zoning is a tough thing to do to be honest.

Yup back to the low tier drawing board. CS1 haku is my fav, I get to zone like a little bitch. Oh well... You're looking for an excuse to switch to valkenhayn in the next game, aren't you? Trolling aside, I get what you guys are saying. But anyone who mains haku, should've expected the nerfs coming in cs2. He was a very solid character in cs1, and the new generation of FG netplayers bitch and complain about no EZMODE strategy. But I don't see him ever falling back into his ct tier ranking again. But that's me personally, I think he'll be manageable in cs2.

Arakune and Hazama from what I know of their match up requires a lot of dexterity in your inputs as well as your ability to react. While I'm getting used to stick still, (I'm not so free anymore) the arakune match up was pretty free for me. I find it's better to pressure him as much as possible, but hazama, it's just weird. Mainly because his close range is a lot more effective than hakumens, and his long range is the hardest to deal with, cutting chains only happens like once a match on average against a competent hazama player. I find that match up very frustrating though, GJ WJM. You're proving yourself as a solid haku, like I said being in arakune's face and intelligently cutting projectiles in the mean time. Against his curse IB>Yukikaze, nuff said, IMO. And comboing off CH 4C is depending on what you're going for. Optimal damage would be, assuming you're in relatively close range is followed by a 3c x 2, if not 6c, or hop wait for them to recover and grab immediately as they do. Thanks for the recognition nolan. I hate playing arakune especially online, because curse is actually a threat since I can't use IB>Yukikaze. Fucking annoying. QWERTY, your status should say "ARE YOU OK?" imo.

But his match against hazama looked like a fish out of the sea.

Well I haven't formally said this, but I'm only posting youtube videos. Unless what you have is only found on nico I'll post it. Otherwise I just wait unitl someone uploads it on youtube. Even Sophis can be used to upload videos onto youtube for us. Not that I don't appreciate the help form you all, it's very much appreciated how you guys have been providing me with videos to make my searching and posting easier. That you all of you. That being said, sorry for taking so long with updating the thread. I'll do my best to update when I can. Alas I suffer from haku-main syndrome. Busy as hell and I'm lazy to boot. But I've done a massive re-haul on the thread. I've now made it so that all links lead directly to the time the matches for haku start. I've not only done so with all the most recent vids but the old ones as well. If you find any errors with regards to that, I didn't check all the old vids to see if they work fine, let me know.
