lol Do you need company? Or message Pedro he lives in south shore too and he's driving there on saturday. Maybe you could catch a life with him or Rhannmah. But if you wanna take the metro I could meet you at some point to show you how it works.

I only really played ggx and AC. GGX I was a pure scrub, and AC is when I found out about dustloop and started to actually learn to play Ky and play properly. But I would say Sol was easily S to A tier in GGX, the main character I fought against, and Ky being D to F tier. Ky's damage was shit regardless of meter and had a terrible mix up game, his GGX mode was pretty good though. Sol was just fucking amazing in GGX. When I look back on the game now, Sol felt broken to me. AC Ky v.s Sol wasn't the equivalent of climbing a mountain like it was in GGX, with their match up being even now. Ky doesn't have any really bad match ups in AC, if anything it would be Baiken. But it's not one sided, you just need to play extra careful and you have a lot of can't do's to deal with against her due to her buffed counters.

You should learn to jab or go into some sort of mix up after renka on block since it gives you frame advantage, you shouldn't be jumping away from her. Learn to bait and punish attempted drive reversals, one thing I would advise against her is to go into minimal mix up then jump back a bit to bait any drive spammage. You need to do the proper renka grab combo in the corner I don't know wtf you were doing but it didn't lead to knock down I'll assume you were nervous. Always try to get knock down in corner combos. Finally, USE 6B, instant overhead with drive cancel abilities. Fucking dangerous in my opinion if you know how to use it. And it makes them more attentive to your mix up instead of potentially spamming the d button. Hope that helps.

From what I see, there's no respect on wake up and he's already in your face once you recover going back into mix up. I'm not saying you should do this to everyone everytime, but learn to use wake up tk hotaru once in a while so that they second guess their mix up game. You should be jumping back from noel not fighting her head on at the beginning of the round. You have no stars so you really can't do much damage. Improve on your keep away/zoning game against noel so that you can chip away her health since she has way better close range capabilities than haku does.

Exactly what you said. The first GG I played, ggx, was terribly unbalanced Ky felt like a d to f tier while sol was easily s tier. But yea I find each game is getting harder and harder with more and more depth, it could become very GG-like by the end of it. I don't think it will have the exact same feel as GG though, but will become a very good fighting game contender.

There were a few things you did that I would pick out as bad moves. But overall you have shaped up into a very solid netplay haku. I'm impressed.

Very true, they have improved immensely since ct which was so heavily unbalanced, as opposed to now with there being a new character but she's still very much balanced without being tested unlike ct nu and haku.

I haven't watched that many vids, haku got nerfed. As I expected to be, and I was right, he wasn't nerfed that bad. I like the rebalancing so far, lol @ bang in ct mode again. I really like the series so I'll continue to support it, I can't really say that much since I haven't played it, I also think valk got nerfed too much. I expect him, ragna, and haku to get buffed a lot in the next game though. Those are my thoughts. I liked the rebalancing for the most part, I doubt broken fun stuff will be found by any characters outside of the ss-a tiers in my opinion.

I doubt it since Ky is really meter dependent for damage. Jin especially in ct, was above average in all aspects, Ky is simply average. Nothing higher and nothing lower than average. Along with a very lack luster mix up game, but a solid oki game once you learn how to use him properly. But that's just my opinion ofcourse.

Learn Ky Kiske in Guilty Gear, you'll learn your fundamentals from there. But learning different fighters could be useful since it will diversify you. But learning Ky is very good to your overall fighting game skills since you'll need good fundamentals to win.

Sounds like a good deal, GG has its own counter assault. It's hard to describe the dust attack beyond, an "untechable attack" in a sense. But that's basically what it is and it opens up many options for combo opportunities. And yea hs is very slow lol.

Yea, P(unch)= BB's A K(ick)= BB's B S(lash)= BB's C H(eavy) S(slash)= BB's even stronger/slower C D(ust)= BB's ?, nothing close to a drive button. But the reason I started playing BB was because it reminded the most of GG. Which was the only game I played after a point. The cabinets there were probably just faulty since all buttons should work. But yea a five button lay out is GG alright. Hope that helps. And most people everywhere just play ssf4.

I'm going there tomorrow, I'll let you know how to get there when I get back.

You really find it's vastly different? GG and BB that is, from one another.
