I'm always hype for BB man, I love that game lol. We're progressing slowly but surely, and we have consistent bi-weekly meetups. We're still a pretty young community so it'll take a while before we really catchup to, say, Toronto for example, but we're clearly much, much better as a whole than we were last summer. That said, I still can't play until next Thursday

I say it would be way too early for a CS2 tournament, but the following tournament should definitely be CS2. EDIT : after reading Ninja Brice's post, I'm not too sure anymore lol.

I can't make it at all this week because of exams. I'll be there next week for sure though.

I've cheated in high school, it was way too easy to get away with lol. Though now that I actually care about my studies, I can't imagine being caught and getting kicked out of school... no way.

Not a big fan of clubbing, I've had fun a couple of times but a lot of alcohol was required. The other times I had to pretend to have fun, sigh. EDIT : won't be able to afford a road trip at that time, so no for me.

About the strong/weak character discussion, I think both Nini and Mac make valid points. Let's say I pick Rachel against a good Litchi. Obviously, I'm entering an uphill battle and it's gonna be really hard to win. No doubt about that. But if my goal is really to win, why the hell did I pick her in the first place? There's playing for fun and playing to win. Obviously we're playing this game for fun regardless of win or loss, but in a competitive environment, if you pick a bad character and want to win, you're simply not being intelligent. That's the sad part though, cuz I feel Rachel is the most fun character to play in this game, and Brice (the top Montreal Tager player) feels the same way about his character. Same goes for Noel and Tsubaki mains, I believe. But if you're good/smart enough to learn how to play your character competently, then you should be smart enough to realize you don't bring a knife to a gunfight and expect to do well. So in the end it really comes down to how much you want to win. I haven't picked Rachel once against Nini during our last meetup, I used characters that I haven't put as much effort into as Rachel, yet I did better than usual. I know that I have no choice if I want to keep up with him >.< and for the record Sophis, I think he's a better player than me.

GGs today guys. I think I'm gravitating more and more towards Lambda and Ragna, and get actual rewards for my efforts. Trying CS2 was a much needed break though, thanks Gil. I'm gonna start practicing these two more. EDIT : rofl, I check the video posting thread and there's a Rachel vs Makoto set, just to tease me.

You don't need to practice the Makoto vs Tager matchup to win, lol. Though if Nini picks Noel, then we might have some hype going on. Aite, I'm leaving right now, I'll be there in 40 mins.
