  3. sesu ( Rachel ) vs KEI ( Jin ) sesu ( Rachel ) vs KEI ( Jin ) sesu ( Rachel ) vs poppo ( Litchi ) and MP ( Lambda ) This is one of the best Rachels I've seen since the patch, hands down.
  4. @advancedNoob Pressure without a viable overhead is just spending wind for nothing. It's way too hard to hit anyone who can block in CS1... well, except in the corner with j.2C and a pole. I'm saying this, but I do agree that j.A instant overhead is a bit too much. 50/50 mixup... but it costs 2 wind to get knockdown unless you're super close and at least 3 winds to get damage.
  5. That guy was using it in CS1... though I'm pretty sure he was the only one. It should be easier now anyway, what with the increased untechable time of j.C.
  6. Zakiyama was killed in a car accident, it really sucks. Don't trust everything you read on the Internet, my bad. I'm still waiting for Matsu or Uate vids... or more Shachou vids, who's the best Rachel I've seen so far in CS2.

  8. Oh, did any of Rachel's normals become air unblockable? 5B would be nice, especially in corner pressure...
  9. Since Tempest Dahlia can be linked from 5B now, maybe we could do something like 5B > 6B > 6CD > j.C > 5B > lvl3 Tempest Dahlia > dash 5B > air combo. Anyway, I'm sure some new midscreen BnB will be figured out.
  10. It can't possibly be released in stores, besides they said at BBCS' launch that the game would be patched for balance within 6 months of the initial release. I'm pretty certain of that, as a Rachel main I've been counting the days since it came out
  11. I guess with heat you could combo with BBL like before yeah, but no more meterless delayed 236B > j.C > j.C > air iris, which was really useful to get as much damage as possible off throws and CH cat punch/chair.
  12. When you put it that way... yeah. Still, I feel like it's quite a loss, especially in the corner. Bah, must remain positive!
  13. Ok, so if it's not an overhead, there's no freaking point in making it normal cancellable on landing. Might as well leave it like CS1 instead of teasing us.
  14. I was watching GGAC matches on youtube one day, and I was really impressed with Kaqn's Jam. Upon searching his name, I stumbled upon a video or him playing Ragna vs Reria's Nu... it was the first time I had seen a BB match. Nu's blades were coming out of everywhere on the screen : in front of her, in the sky, even from behind Ragna himself... and I didn't understand how the hell he did that. I was so impressed that I decided right then to main Nu in the game. Then, while learning more about BB, I discovered Rachel : a goth loli who beats up her own minions. I was sold. Eventually I found her micromanagement type of gameplay really fun, even moreso than Nu's, so she became my main and Nu became my sub. So I unknowingly ended up with the two most broken characters in the game. I stuck with these two for CS, and while it's been a really painful road as a Rachel mainer, I feel it has forced me to surpass myself in order to be able to squeeze out wins, and with BBCS2, there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel...

If the opponent slides away, I'm pretty sure the frog won't be able to get to him/her in time to activate before they can tech, or that Rachel will have enough time to run up, plant a lobelia while the frog is zapping and continue the combo. Besides, lobelia recovery has been increased... Remember, the first loketest changes say you gotta combo with C lobelia and 3D... that means the opponent will have been sent about half a screen away.
  16. 6a useful again and pumpkin attack level increased... it's like every single one of our prayers has been adressed now. I wonder how many of these changes will actually stick to the final release.
  17. From news thread: So yeah 6A sucks again. Pumpkin buff is good, but I just want more block/hit stun on it.
  18. They had to tone down 6A a bit if it was back like in CT. As long as it's actually better than in CS (read : useful), I'll be happy.

  22. Fucking great job man. About the CH cat chair combos... is it that much more practical to go right ahead and do the LVL2 j.2C instead of catching them with 2D, 5B, j.C, 2D, LVL2 j.2C?

  24. I have a question. Could it be that the 5CC wall bounce corner loop doesn't work on small characters like Noel? Like, 5B, 5CDC, dash, 5CC, 5CC~214B, 3C~214A and corner pressure. I'm guessing 3C would miss against non 3C characters but it's the first 5CC that I can't seem to hit on Noel. If it just happens that this combo doesn't work against her would there be a useful alternative?
  25. holy shit, that lobelia combo at 2:37 was so fucking awesome, and even though it's a 4 wind, 100% heat combo, it still did 4.9k...
