http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/KOBGG.gif Brackets 1. Ivysaur (Chie) 2. ZomB (Chie) 3. DAI | Urichinan (S.labs) 4. Star (Misturu) 5. 99Olives (Naoto) 5. Jackie Chandler (Narukami) 7. Alphakami (Kanji) 7. 12. FLESHPOUNDER (Aigis) 12. Milln (Yosuke) 12. 12. As Kyle has written. This is actually the best I have. I don't have accurate brackets so I can't have accurate results. Skeletal Minion either tied for 12th or tied for 7th. Every other placing I don't have the accuracy for, and i'm not just going to write anybody in without knowing for sure. Edit: F Shoutouts this time. Everyone got personal shoutouts in person and everyone knows I respect and love them. You guys are my family. <3 A million thank you's to Kyle, Fleshpounder, Yeti Ghetto Slang, Kirk, ZomB, Ivysaur, Skeletal Minion, Zega, Sara, Some Brown Kid, Roach King, and every other out of stater that I spoke with. You all are the best.

Here, guys. I'm late, but there was a tournament last weekend and I have some footage for you all so you can call me bad. There was a state vs. state tournament that I was a part of and got blown up by Ivysaur. I truly believe in my heart that I could have beaten him in this quick set if I hadn't messed up my Garudyne cancel shenanigan. I was still holding forward when I OMC'd and the OMC>Dash mechanic automatically converted it into an airdash instead of my victory and it just messed my head up, couldn't get over it. Ivysaur is very very good at some Chie, guys. He reverse-OCV'd our team. Outstanding player, I want to play him and ZomB often. http://www.twitch.tv/pandaxgaming/b/335451343?t=236m05s After that, I OCV'd another team off-stream and then street fighter happened and singles was later. I'll post that up in this same post with an edit after I go through it. I lost a match to Skeletal Minion, a Labrys player from Alabama, won a few matches off stream, then Vs. Teddie http://www.twitch.tv/pandaxgaming/b/335479658?t=306m32s : The last round of the set, the reason for the delay in starting my offense is Teddie just keeps jumping around and I only had a gameplan for grounded mixups/combos at that particular moment and was trying to figure out how to keep him on the ground. Eventually, I just decide to let the timer go cause I had no reason to go in in the first place, then seized my opportunity to end it with 2 seconds left. Vs. Narukami http://www.twitch.tv/pandaxgaming/b/335479658?t=327m05s Jackie plays differently than other Narukami's. That's the only thing I have to say. I'm constantly trying to bait DP because he plays ultra disrespectfully, he knows this, so I basically let him mash A on wakeup because i'm fishing for DP all the time. Watching it again, I just fell apart especially in the last match. Screwed up a couple dash buffers and some other things.

Twitch footage of the tournament: I'll edit with singles. State vs. State tournament starts here with Tennessee MTNG vs. Ohio Arcade Legacy http://www.twitch.tv/pandaxgaming/b/335451343?t=158m01s Jackie Number One White Boy from Cookeville. DRINKING DIET MOUNTAIN DEW. WHY IS THAT EVEN A THING. DID YOU SWISH THAT, TOO? HAVE I CALLED YOU OUT ON THAT BEFORE? I swear I have. Why do you swish soda. Seriously. Stop drinking Diet Mountain Dew. There's no point in drinking "diet" soda. No, sir. They are getting it on console.

I tested them myself with Street Fighter training mode, Persona 4 training mode, and a 30+ versus set in Persona 4. I can't detect any lag. I can falling j.D even closer to the ground than I can on my plasma in my room. They seem fine.

OKAY GUYS. So, something has happened that i've texted a few of you about and that forces my hand on the news that I spoke of ("So, you made an announcement of announcement, Milln?") earlier. There's a pretty sweet new venue in Murfreesboro called Kaos Theory that offers By-The-Hour gaming and is a venue for nightly/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly/anytimely tournaments. They have twenty (20) HD setups, a 25 foot projector screen that displays whatever is on setup 1, a stream, 2 pool tables, and an Air Hockey/Ping Pong table. They also have an MvC1 cabinet and a Tekken Tag Tournament 1 cabinet. For refreshments, they have a legitimate cafe that offers lots and lots of things, meal deals, cheesecake, and drinks such as Vitamin Water, orange soda, and other beverages. The staff here is very chill, and you already met one of the guys, he was on Tennessee Team 2, his name is Anne Frank. I took thirty or so pictures and a video. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2421.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2422.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2423.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2424.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2425.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2426.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2427.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2428.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2429.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2430.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2431.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2432.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2433.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2434.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2435.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2436.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2438.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2439.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2440.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2441.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2442.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2443.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2444.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2445.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2446.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2447.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2448.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/IMG_2449.jpg http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/kk212/Shadowlawl/?action=view¤t=IMG_2437.mp4 THE POINT IS: This is an option for a new venue. BEFORE ANYONE JUMPS ON ME: NO. I AM NOT DROPPING JASON SIMPLY BECAUSE THIS IS A SHINY NEW PLACE. I HAVE NO REASON TO. JASON IS A BALLER. From the talks that i've had, we're actually doing a sort of trifecta of Game Galaxy, Kaos Theory, and Game Trader of Murfreesboro. Hopefully that actually comes to fruition. Which lets me segue into this: ============== Guilty Gear Launch Party on Wednesday at Kaos Theory =============== Ten bucks per head nets us unlimited play of all Arc sys/Aksys games such as BlazBlue, Persona, and most importantly: Guilty Gear Until 3am. With Food and 25 foot projector screens. And streams. And comfy chairs. And pool. and. Oh. They also serve alcohol. Jus' sayin'. *looks straight at Tad and Phil* So do yourself a favor, show up on Wednesday sometime, play games, hang out with me and the gang, and let the people of Kaos Theory know about us. They've already talked to me, i've already talked to them. They're interested in our community. They want us to grow and I want to help them grow. We'll probably be using their venue more than a few times.

Man, King of Bling absolutely consumed all of my energy. Since Monday I've been coming home and just crashing. I feel better, today, so I'll finally get results and a semi-reliable bracket image up. Jason cut the power Saturday night and it fudged up the auto-save, so results of first/second/third matches may be incorrect, but those who placed will be accurate so no worries there. For those that don't already know, my 360 broke(it freezes constantly) so now I'm out a 360, unfortunately. However, some sweet games released on PSN recently: Odin Sphere with fixed slowdown, Virtua On, Tokyo Jungle and a bunch more. King of Fighters is also free right now for Playstation Plus members. I'll post up results tonight, until then keep jammin', and let's set up our first gathering, yeah? I've got some news that I'm talking over with Jason, Jackie already knows about it, that I'll post another day, too.

Three people = Several?

Still at work, but wanted to chime in: I will definitely still play Persona. I have no reason not to. I have a lot of fun playing Yosuke versus any character and I just generally like the game. I can understand Naimat not wanting to play anymore, though. Probably going to drop Kof both as a game I play and as a game I'll host. There's simply no scene here to support it and I'm tied up with work to travel to other scenes, even to Cookeville to play with Arson and G-Ram. I'm a little upset about this and I don't think I'll actually go through with, though. Future tourneys will feature Persona and Guilty Gear, most likely.
-
I'll have results, shouts, and closing comments by Tuesday evening. I'm straight into a twelve hour day Monday and a business meeting on Tuesday.
-
Yo, Jackie. That's you, right there man. Getchu some pumas. GUILTY GEAR TOURNAMENT AT 4:30 ON SATURDAY. Entry is 5$.
-
I'll see what I can do. At the moment, my official word is "probably". I'll post later with something more definitive.
-
Edit: whoa whoa whoa wait a minute. Why are you waiting for THE DAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT if there's going to be an event for something that isn't listed? Define a 'ton of people begging to play' and we'll go from there about seeing if we can get time for Guilty Gear in.
-
Remember, i'm going straight to Game Galaxy after work and i'll be there till evening. I encourage everyone to show up and get some casuals in. Also, even though first Persona tournament isn't until 2, there's going to be NINE (9) casual stations for the various games. Come early and play and goof off.
-
Yeah, but Lumin almost never tweets.
-
You know, I ---can't---,
-
I just wanna say that this is one of my favorite matchups to play. It's so fun. When describing it to others. "It's like peerryoong! zoom zoom zoom cut cut JIRAIYA! dash dash zoom wheeee" while doing silly motions with my fingers.
-
Yes. Five per person. If we do 3v3, it'll be $15 per team. If we have enough for 5v5, it'll be $25 per team. It'll actually look like 5v5 is a reality. Michigan's players completely backed out, so unless another state(Alabama most likely) shows and has 3 or 4, we got legit crew battles, guys.

Got some Undernight information from Twitter this morning. "Seth feels like CS1 Bang with Litchi's staff. In other words, a super powerful but also super fun to play god character." "Merkavia had super long reach, strong anti-air, and a safe slide; so you can compare him to Arakune. He can't kill you in one combo but with his bug Okizeme he can make you block low/instant overhead mixup three times!" "Gordo- A braindead character who can wildly throw out DP and command throw from outside opponent 2A range. If you block something mash 236C > reverse beat A to make an escape that covers all options!" "Orie- 3C j2C" All of this is from Kubo.

GG's to all at fight night. Glad you could come out. Ignore me beating myself up. I'll be out of this funk by Saturday, you can believe in me.
