Get your shit together man. Renting sucks and no one would ever rent. It's like renting a tux. You spend a bunch of money for something that's not that great, and you get nothing out of it at the end. Renting snowboard gear is the same because you even if you rent the board, you still have to have the pants and jacket, and at that point if you already have 2 out of the 3 pieces of the outfit you might as well buy the 3rd piece.

Yeah but snowboarding Jackets are not stylish at all for everyday use. They look bulky and cumbersome not to mention most of them hideous that will not match the rest of your ensemble. My main beef with Snowboarding/Skiing equipment is the limited uses within a year and all the other costs that come along with them. You buy the equipment say at the beginning of the season, and then you may be use it once a week at best, maybe twice during a week if you're really gungho on going up to the mountains, for a few months and then for the rest of the year it basically does nothing. Not to mention costs such as driving up and driving back. Maybe one of these days I'll give it a shot, but for now I'm going to stick with my lesser ghetto sports. Not to mention today I found out that through many months possibly years of leaning on my right leg, my left leg has now become considerably weaker and I now I have to work on fixing that muscle imbalance.

I don't know Ray. It's kinda hard to argue needing to go to work at a minimum wage job. I'd go to Big White, but I'm probably going to be working as well. The difference in my case however is that I'd be missing out on 240$ a day and probably 1000$ in wages and 3000$ in combined expenses for the trip and potential lost wages because the Grain Elevator is all like "you can't fuck off for 5 days when you're only working about 10 days altogether". Unless you're going to be losing out on potential earnings equal or greater to what you would have spent going to Big White, it's probably better to on the trip and have a good time than potentially just making an extra couple hundred dollars. If you were in a situation like I am where you have to pay rent, then sure a few hundred bucks always helps, but in your case it's just disposable income anyways. Counter-argument though is Fuck buying Snowboarding gear. Shits too expensive which is why I don't go snowboarding. Board, pants, jacket, goggles, pass, etc for something you're only going to use 4-5 months out of the year, maybe once a week? Fuck that shit.

Mashing does make sense in some respects. The added 10-20 hits of unscaled damage to assists can really add up if you happen catch them with a Hyper. It also can prevent people from doing extended combos as well. In Vanilla there were plenty of characters that could combo after Hypers with and without the use of X-factor, but now with mashing, the added extra 20 or so hits may cause enough hit stun deterioration to help decrease the amount of one touches. Not too sure, but definitely would make sense.
