  1. Even the NAOMI soundboard versions? :3 That was only ever used in Accent Core Plus R, right? I haven't heard the official version yet, so I can't say. I've only heard gvgkid's arrangements of the new stuff. They're usually pretty close, but they ARE arrangements, so they differ in some ways. I am curious about E's and Dizzy's themes coming up. The new BB themes have been pretty solid though I'm not so much a fan of YOMOTSUHIRASAKA's screechy intro, it's still pretty cool. (I don't like the really thrashy songs as much, like Black Onslaught or Worthless as the Sun Above Clouds, I generally prefer softer/synthier openings like Alexandrite, Science Fiction, Crystal Forest, etc.) Though, I have to say that Walpurgisnacht is just too damn cool. For Dizzy, I would really like to see something more Awe of She and less Tears Are Forever. I don't think we'll GET another version of Awe of She (sadly) but I think that a little piano or harmonized vocals could definitely bring it back in a good way.
  2. Congrats to the dev-team! I look forward to seeing the finished product.
  3. Got it on the third day after launch. The single player experience has been superb and the hiccups here and there have seemed to decrease with the recent patching! All in all a fantastic port (and the best out of the steam Isuka and #Reload ports in my opinion). I haven't tried online yet, but on my machine it runs just fine and the scaling and side panels make it for a fine visual experience! Definitely the ultimate GGXX experience on PC thus far.
  4. Thank you much, the both of you. ^_^ I'd always wondered about that.
  5. And the game informs you of this by turning the color of your combo counter blue instead of red, right? (I'd always thought that's how it worked or at least that's why it was called that.)
  6. Perpetual amateur here. ^_^ A red beat is when you have a complete/proper combo that a character can't react to and a blue beat is when it's close enough to count as a combo, but a character has an opening to use a burst or FD to stop the combo, right? Also, what's the difference between blue beating and black beating?
  7. People rag on Black Onslaught, but really, how could we expect it to live up to the profound and insightful lyricism of Kill DOG as a Sacrifice to DOG? :3

  9. Not. XD I've been playing fighting games forever, but I'm definitely not a top tier player. The terminology eludes me, a lot, and there are some times when I'm golden, or my instincts kick in and it all works and there are other times when I know what I want to do, but I just can't make it happen. I'm okay with pretty much all the characters (except for Carl... poor poor Carl.) but I'm not really good with any of them. XD I'd like to think Hazama and Rachel were my mains, but... sometimes I just get my ass handed to me on a silver platter when I should have won. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever be good... I mostly just play to watch the characters do their thing.
  10. There are SO many abbreviations in this thread, I have NO idea what anyone's talking about. XD Would it kill you people to spell things out? ;o;
