Yes lol during the lag on 5d coming out, like its starting up frames, hit b c, the moves shouldnt come out, so for instance doing 2a 2a 6a 5d (bbug cbug) j.5a j.6a 236c etc etc (which is a staple combo you should be pulling) You should see the mnoves just how they are, you wont acctually see the b or c come out

Ah ok, I havent tryed to link 5b -> 5c since I started learning more combos, etc the first couple days of BB I was using j.5b into 5b 5c and it would land so I just assumed it did

if you land the 5b you should be able to link the 5c, it shouldnt be giving you any trouble though I havent the slighest idea why your trying to link 5b to 5c when there are a lot better options

perfect guard while jumping and he'll get pushed back enough at a certain point for you to either Dive or j.44 5d cloud will hit if timed right but its bothersome to pull off, and a correctly timed dived will hit, you can guess by where on the screen your at and where hes at, you can usually bait the icecar and catch him with a dive My favorite solution is j.66 or 44 + 5b, just hovers enough to knock him out, and then you can guard into another 5 or just let the first one finish out and fall onto him with the next, and go into your preferred curse combo

I figured this was the other important one as well for talk about defeating Nu (V-13) I have yet to fight a decent one so here's the info from the other thread found here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5925 V-13: This is hands-down Arakune's worst match up. The problem here is that V-13's range allows her to safely keep pressure, and punish many things -such as a j.236D- on reaction for crazy amounts of damage. Even if you're able to get past the swords, her 2C has a habit of beating out everything that you try to do. However, there are some tricks (and I do mean tricks) that can help to give you the edge in this fight. 1) How do I get her marked? You cannot reliably throw out a cloud, which means that marking her just got a whole lot harder. However, if you do manage to get her marked, this fight swings in your favor considerably. The following are some the best ways I've found of getting a mark A: Super jump, double jump -> j.3D. The reason that this is useful is due to the idea that you know V-13 is going to get a free hit on you. But one of the (best) features of the j.D is that it still comes out, even if Arakune gets hit before they are marked. This will also be a counterhit, so they're stuck on the ground for a little while. This works because when you're that high up, the only move V-13 has that can hit you, is her 2D. At the exact spot she needs to be to hit you with that 2D, is the same spot the j.3D appears. B: Throwing out a cloud safely. This is possible, but very difficult. The single best way (read: the only safe way) to do this, is if you manage to hit with 5A ->6B, jump cancel and throw out an instant-air cloud. You will land at about the same time she recovers, which means she can easily force you to block her 5D, but she can't punish. Also, do NOT burst -> j.236D. V-13 recovers quickly enough from being hit by a burst to punish this. Also with super. C: Combo into the mark. Only way to be sure *sigh*. If only it were that easy. 2) I Have her marked! What do I do now? Even while marked, V-13 cannot be out zoned. All it takes is one random poke to destroy all that work you just did. So, rather than trying to out-projectile her, put yourself into a situation where even if she does get that random poke in, you're still better off than you had been. Here's my strategy: j.6C. No, really. The thing about this is that while the opponent is marked, doing a j.6C (and releasing the button) causes the C bug to appear from behind the opponent, locking them in block stun, as you're getting in. This also means that if they try to attack because they saw you jumping the C bug counterhits, which puts them into a crumple stun. Then you can do j.2A -> dive cancel -> 5b -> air combo into mark -> blah blah blah. Even if she does block or dodge the C bug, you're a hell of a lot closer to her than you started off. Once you're on top of her, you can use your 2A -> 5B -> 5D, and 6A -> 5D mixup to try and get a hit into another mark, and all the time under a safe cover of bugs.

Depends If its jin, I zone If its anyone else, Hillarious rushdown that usually starts with a j.5b into all that 6c loopage though sometimes ill stop after 1 loop, and back off (I notice a lot of players are starting to burst after 1 set of 6c loops)

Oh trust me, before I saw what they acctually looked like I didnt know either, I wasnt even trying to hit with a 6a, I acctually waited to do a 2b and was going "How the hell is this supposed to be a loop?" I think the 2 loops could use a bit more explination or a video showing exactly what and where then again, I could just be a dumbass :D

I feel like such a dumbass... this entire time ive been playing (online matchs and the like) ive been wondering why my 6c loops were not working half the time, ive been using 6c 5C 2C b bug c bug instead of a bug -.- /facepalm oh and they only worked half the time because people are to stupid to guard or must have tried to attack inbetween /againfacepalm
