Hmm...I wouldn't say that I'm great at BB (I base my gameplay on watching what my opponent does and exploiting their weaknesses if they have any), I just know shit that works and I watch plenty of JP videos and imitate some of the stuff they do. I admit I hate blocking online, I truly do. I usually don't block or tech grabs because, most of the time when I do I either get an accidental backdash when I try instant blocking, TRM or it just doesn't register. Offline however, I'm quite content with my defense (I can block Valk wolf-mixup, Carl shenanigans and Arakune curse mixup FUCK YARRR). One of my major weaknesses is that I go for overheads ALL THE TIME, why? idk, I'm used to people just holding 1 or 3 (and mashing A) when I'm on offense and I usually get them that way. Another weakness of mine is leaving gaps in my pressure strings, Severin has blown me up MANY times for doing this, but slowly I'm starting to leave false gaps so that people can mash something extremely punishable. My point is, everyone has weaknesses and admitting to them is the first step to improving yourself. Second is making said weaknesses into your strengths. Only then can you start your path into becoming a better player. Hell, I've lost more matches than actually winning, I honestly don't mind losing if it's completely legit, it just means that I need to improve and I am always up for improvement. Star, you need to take one of these days to just sit down and figure out what is wrong with the stuff that you're doing, don't play the game, just analyze and see what you can do to slowly improve your overall game. tl:dr- Check out Jourdal's or PKtazn's Youtube channel. Tao is a reasonable matchup you hit her and she's pretty much dead like Carl; However, fighting against Arakune is like playing I Wanna Be the Guy/Boshi. DARK SOULS.
