  2. I was saying how I play one way to fake her out .. hence the psychology part. Anywho, the landing 214D is pretty solid too.. but is very punishable on block. Again.. mixing it up is going to be the key.
  3. I just jump forward and hold back all day.. and block swords over and over. Until I get to air dash range and then I dash in to j.C. It gets them into that mentality that I'm always gonna go air. then I do a quick ground run and 3C and hump their face. Gotta play the psychology.. it's the only thing that works for me.

  5. As a noel player gotta say the biggest threat is ID. Don't spend too much time in the air, noel's 6A will rofl you. your ID and 6A are a good counter to noel in the air as well though. On the ground.. no one really starts with 3C.. unless he's a mile away and expects your 214A. Try to zone with your Bs and Cs and stay at arms length.. don't get too close cuz noel's 5A is super crazy fast and leads into big combos. swing those Bs and Cs and make me rush in and ID me into a combo. Once you land a combo try to rush me down, but watch out for j.D .. i'll be trying to jump block and go into a j.D which leads to a knock down.. and me rushing you down which very devastating.
  6. Can anyone confirm if it is possible to kill the insect swarm (air 236 D). I know if it hits you or if you block it you get marked.. but I think I was goofing around once and I slashed it and it went away. I tried again another time online I got a counter hit and marked me.. not sure if I just missed or I was crazy the first time. Sometimes I'm in a corner and that insect thing is coming in and I'd like to know if this is an option.. as usually Arakune expects me to run from it.. leading into some sort of trap of his or another.
  7. This fight is just terrible. It's not even a real fight.. I mean.. nu's really got nothing once you're close.. so she has no option other than running .. and you really have no way of closing distance.. other than walking.. so we run and run and run.. Only thing I can think of is to avoid air dash as you can't block until the end of the last few frames.. and hold back and ab a lot when jumping. 3C is a pretty good option if she does her multiple straight swords when you're sorta close. I haven't had much luck breaking by her overhead swing thingy, but it has a lot of recovery frames so if you just block and do off the ground air dash (at this range she has no D swords) into j.c >5a> 6a you can get some decent damage in. Try to do combos that leave her on the ground, so she doesn't have time to air recover and dash away. Best option is the 6c bc miss loop into chain revolver but that is a very technical move and I generally can't pull it off.. so I get into the air. I try to use to end my combo with air throw rather than air 236C as this will force nu to the ground and I can hump her face.
  8. I suck vs him too. He does have a couple of weaknesses though. He has really no mix up game so down blocking with barrier will push you outside of his range quickly and get you into a more defend-able position. Off the ground air dash to j.C into ground combo works pretty well as it comes out fast. Also, as some have mentioned 3C goes under his 5D. Usually though, to avoid eating 5D, I start the trip kind of far and won't be able to link into a 22C>6C combo. Therefore, once I trip him I just hump him with a bunch of 2As and 5As and try to go 5A to 6A to 6C to BnB. I just try to keep him on the ground and not give him space. If you do give him space though best to back out and find a new entry either with a 3C or a j.C, otherwise you tend to be poorly positioned and eat 5D or his uppercuts, which are all very punishing. my 2 c

  10. I find optic blast to be useful here. I play fairly defensively and just mix up optic blasts until he does his anti projectile swipe. I run in and poke low when he does that and it seems to be fairly effective an opening. Switching up down high works well. You can catch him off guard if you poke low and then do 2D for a counterhit (since usually he tries to poke you low or is blocking low). But don't do it 2x in a row or anything.. switch to 3C or 2C and just get out. Being predictable is going to get you punished.
