You really don't want to be driving around too much against a hakumen. His 5C and 6C will beat it out and lead to some awful combos. I play this match very cautiously. I attack and jump back until I get a good opportunity to counter. I use a lot of 6C in this game to punish whiffed jC. Timing is kind of strict though since if you react to late he can land and hit you with a 5C for counter-hit.
