Just... dont do it for an OTG. How to get tension to do it? Teleport pressure strings. 5s 5s 5hs 22d j.hs/s 5s 5s 5hs 22d etc etc. If they get smart.. s-teleport and THEN d-teleport :D

  10. Actually now that I think about it, I must have misunderstood you TGS. Ice Prince is right. If you take a look at the survey itself, its about your gameplay in general. The question i posed is stated as "Based on your knowledge and experience in playing Guilty Gear, how important are these factors during game play?" <-- which is not character specific. Mind you TGS, I used to play Chipp first and then when i switched to Testament (cuz testie has no uppercuts) I had to learn how to switch gears myself. Went from full offense to runaway/zoning :P I kinda liked the change of pace. I'll make sure to stress that balancing between offense and defense as well as knowing when to do so in my guide.
  11. Actually I would like to instill the mentality that Millia is a pressure/rushdown heavy character and that is the most optimum way of using her. Her potential as a great character comes from the fact that her pressure game is very good. I hope to make new players (who have not picked her up) aware that she is that type of character. Doing the 'norm' is good for beginners. Against a decent GG player, ANY beginner would lose, especially if they did not know how to play a character properly. I'd rather people read my guide and not even start practicing Millia than picking up Millia with the totally wrong mindset, finding out that they have to switch gears in the middle of it all, and then just quit because they wasted time.

It will include data on character matchups, info on normals, tips while playing and a small section on how to level up your gameplay based on the information organized on dustloop and collected by me :D I will post the results collected for each survey once they are "done". I hope that you'll help me out by filling out these 3 surveys. The first link is the Specific Matchups Survey that deals with the tier listings for all the players (that help fill out this survey) which is essentially Dustloop's own tier list. The second link is the General Gameplay Questionnaire that deals with identifying the best game play strategy for each character.   17. I'd say to cancel into a net occasionally. It would really really be bad if you do it all the time. What I try and do is either cancel into HS exe and play around with the timing on that such that he is forced to block. Then once in a while to keep the pressure up more, you just throw a net out. Stops him from teleporting forward through a forward exe.
  18. @Zenpou: I have some experience at fighting a decent Slayer. There are 3 things that I've found that will keep slayer preoccupied. Net, Forward Exe, and 6k. Slayer has a really short air dash. A backdash and 6k will probably screw up his range. If you can 6k on reaction while he's in the air, thats even better. Slayer's j.hs pretty much clashes with everything Testament has in my case. Including Nightmare Circular. I find this pretty annoying. Nets will make him unable to teleport around and mappa. Whenever he gets stuck in the net, just punish accordingly. I find putting down a net and then a k curse a pretty good defensive setup. Now, back exe beast, unless you predict he's going to do a far dandy, will almost always whiff. Back exe is really unsafe so to speak. I find forward exe beast the most useful when trying to beat out someone who abuses short dandy into pilebunker. About Slayer's pokes, try not to punish anything other than a pilebunker & crosswise heel because he would immediately just dandy and pilebunker again for counterhit. Just wait his pressure string out and jump & dash away whenever he teleports. Thats all I learnt from playing a friend :x If anyone wants to add on, correct or offer a better solution. I'm all ears
