  1. Pretty much this. Not everything is fact because it comes from glorious Nippon. People need time to master and re-master characters for a viable tier-list is created. Plus, it's a LOKETEST - not everything is set in stone people. In any case, tiers are stupid.
  2. I definitely won't give up on playing Hazama, but I really want to play Platinum. Depending on how both of those characters when CSII drops will determine who becomes my definite main and definite sub. It was a bitch learning how to play with Hazama and I'm still having trouble with simple dash cancels after Zaneiga to get better positioning into stronger combos. I can't let all of that hard work go to waste. As for Ragna and Mu... eh, they seem okay. I'll still play them in CSII as well, but probably sparingly.
  3. I like that air unblockable 5B and 5C. Keeping people in the corner and out of the air. So gdlk.
  4. So I'm guessing that there won't be anymore 4DA > 4DA > 4DD combos anymore? But I guess it's pretty nice that we still have a way to do Hazama's old BnB if you can connect 214DC off of a CH 3C: CH 3C > 214DC > 5C > 2C > 4DD > j.B > j.C x 2 > j.c > j.C x 5 > 214B Then again, should it even matter? We'll have to look for new BnBs on Hazama anyway when BB:CSII drops.
  5. That was a great tournament for my first time. Got blown up by Litchi though. :c Congrats to TitaniumBeast for winning.
  6. ;___; -sniff- I'm so touched...
  7. Beautiful, just beautiful.
  8. It seems interesting to take out his 3C > 214D~C. You could always combo into 3C > 214~B, so I'm guessing there will be more focus on that, along with lowering his BNB to only JC x2 > JC x 5 to lower Heat gain. Sounds like Hazama's going to lose all of his BNBs at this rate, but other cool stuff will be discovered with Hazama I'm sure. I like that 3C makes people float even though it ruins the BNBs he has now. Makes me think of the possibilities.
  9. Oh... oh my lord. I'm now able to do both of those combos no sweat! Thanks a TON you guys. Now I feel like I'm getting somewhere.
  10. Hey guys, I'm a bit new to Mu, and I'm trying to up my game with her. I learned a few of her combos, but I'm having a little trouble on her Challenges. Challenge 7: CH 2C > jc > airdash > JC > J2C > 66 > 2B > 5C > 6C > 2D > jc > JB > JC > jc > JC > J2C My problem with this combo is that after the first J2C, I can't dash in time to hit with 2B into the rest of the combo. Challenge 8: (In corner) 3C > [2B > 5C > 2C > jc > JC > J2C] x 2 > 2B > 632146C I can do everything except combo from 2B into her Distortion Drive. Either that I input it too slow, or I rush the input and throw out a 6C, SoD, or absolutely nothing at all. It feels like I can't buffer the move at all, but it's really easy to buffer an input like that when I do it with other characters (Ex. 6B > 5C > 632146D with Ragna).
  11. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm12104630 ^ Multi-character combo video. Really cool setups with Mu-12.
  12. Hello gents, I'm Critical Edge. Since I'm in NC I thought I should introduce myself. I play mostly BlazBlue: Continuum Shift and dabble a bit in Super Street Fighter 4 (I don't own the game though). In BBCS I play a pretty mediocre Hazama, used to play as Taokaka with Ragna as a sub in CT. When I sit down to play some SSF4 when it's available, I play the worst Dudley known to mankind (I can't do most of his special attacks consistently, and I don't know any of the game mechanics as a whole like Focus Attacks). So, if you want to hit me up on BBCS and beat my Hazama senseless, my PSN is CriticalZero. If there's any BBCS throwdowns in the Charlotte area, let me know and I'll try and be there - which might not even be possible at this point since I can't even drive. Anyway, just making myself known. Peace.
  13. Yeah, that's a CT video. The name of the video is just a ruse. Edit: Oh, so there's a new loop now? Carl just gets better and better.
  14. For the love of Christ, NC gets no love. Ever. Arcades don't exist around where I live. Man it sucks.
  15. I'm a pretty noob Ragna player (I can't do Inferno Divider for shit on my new stick) so I don't know if this works or not. But, if you have 50% Heat and you get a knockdown, try doing Not Over Yet > Carnage Scissors. Also, you can really turn things around if you're low on health and use Blood Kain. The extra damage and health stealing can really go a long way. Plus 5D works much, much better for pressure. And like the guy above me said, practice practice practice. It's pretty much all you can do.
  16. I chose Taokaka as my main just because of her character design, plus the fact that I love combo heavy characters. However, playing with a PS3 controller made playing her frustrating. I couldn't get Hexa Edge out when I wanted to (If at all), and I would mash so much that I'd do Almost Becoming Two on accident (I got out of mashing though). Her Brutal Kitty Fest was easier to throw out, but I'd keep doing it when it was too late (My friends usually catch on if I'm trying to do a special). Because of that, I decided that I was going to branch out and see if I could do better with other characters. Thus, began my journey through the cast. It started when I got home with some friends after playing Brawl over one of their houses at around 9 pm or so. I told them about BlazBlue and they wanted to try it. I played with Taokaka at first, but I quickly got beaten down by my friend's Hakumen because I didn't know how to approach him correctly. I even had trouble with him in Arcade Mode. After that loss, I decided to start what I said to myself I was going to do. First, I picked Arakune since I like his whole demeanor (His broken words and laughing is awesome). I didn't do too well and got beaten again, while my friends were beating each other playing as Ragna, Jin, even my younger sister was getting wins by D-Spam with Noel. So, I tried out Ragna. I didn't know anything about him and we all decided not to look at the characters' moves - just figure stuff out. I loved playing with Ragna. It was easier to get in and he had a lot of options (To me, anyway). In two rounds I learned Inferno Divider, Dead Spike, Hell's Fang and the move that connects after that, Gauntlet Hades and the spinning kick after that too. The only reason why I knew their names was because he was saying them too. My personal favorite was Inferno Divider. I got in some pretty sick combos as well. ??? > Inferno Divider > 2 punches (bounce off the wall) > Jump > Random Combo > Dropkick or something like that. I watched my friends play a Mirror Match with Tager while they didn't know anything about playing him much to my horror. While watching I was like "... well fuck that." Played with Jin. I didn't really get him until I learned how to do his Ice Car. Vrroooom Vrrrrrroooooooom. Noel made me rage because I would do Bloom Trigger in the middle of a combo and get molested by my friends' characters. Needless to say I liked playing with her too - but not as much as playing with Ragna. Then I returned to Taokaka again after my disaster with Carl. For the first time, I landed 6A > 2D > JC > 9D > JC > 236BBBBB. I was so damn happy. For some reason I instantly got better with her after playing with everyone else. I couldn't do her specials that much like before, but I could combo much better, and I got better at handling her Drive. So, after hours and hours of playing one another, here's what we came up with: Me: Taokaka (Main), Ragna, and Noel. Friend 1: Bang (Main), Rachel, and Litchi. He can get off most of Bang's specials, even Furinkazan easy. He takes advantage of his super armor too. He's not that good with Litchi yet, but he's a fast learner. He spammed Jump > JA JA JA > Electric Chair with Rachel - and it worked on us. Friend 2: Ragna and Jin (In the pink). He's playing with them both and doesn't have a main yet, but he's pretty beast with Jin. I have an upperhand on Ragna though. Friend 3: Hakumen (Main). This guy was kicking everyone's ass with Hakumen until we got the hang of our characters. Younger Sister: Noel. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Little Brother: Ragna, Jin, and Noel. This child is 9 years old. Tell me how can he possibly beat all of us cleanly with Ji- ICE CAR. He spammed with Noel too but he's just a child, he doesn't know any better.
