  1. I'm starting to get it now. Dunno how long it's supposed to last but I can get it to do 4.5k+ damage, and that's with just the loop, not going into anything else. So I'm happy haha. Ty for the help guys!
  2. Guess I'll just have to work on it some more :/ Just don't wanna end up practicing the wrong timing, and getting too used to it haha. Then I'd have trouble switching to the right timing once I find it.
  3. Quick question about the j.C ground loop... I can't seem to get past a 7 combo with it =( or more specifically, I can't get more than one punch in. Like I do, j.C, 5B, 5C, 6D (hits), j.C, 5B, 5C, lose the combo, 6D (hits). It seems if I delay the time between the 6D and the j.C, I miss, and if I delay it between the j.C and the 5B or the 5B and the 5C I lose the combo. Anyone else have trouble with this or do I just suck? xD If anyone else had trouble and could say what they changed to keep it going, would be helpful... Also, of note, atm I'm playing on a gamepad, which sucks, but I'm able to hit all the buttons pretty well with how I hold it. New stick is on the way from Japan haha.
  4. In the DB Aikouka videos (and some others) they do some weird 3C 22BC 22C loop kinda similar to the Rachel combo. You can see what I mean here, it's the first combo Noel does http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_4SJjV24_E And with other people, they seem to do [3C, (22C, 6C) x5, 22C, j.C, j.236C] or [3C, (22C, 6C) x6, j.C, j.236C]. I'm wondering why people do these 2 combos, or more I guess why they stop there, when you can actually pull off 7 [22C, 6C]'s in the same combo and do 7k+ damage without a grab like DB used. Is it just because it's harder to do? (I'll admit, I can't do it perfectly yet xD against real opponents I normally just do 5 loops) EDIT: Correction, it does 6805 damage. Not quite 7k xD
  5. As everyone was saying about the IAD, it works wonders if you predict a 236D from Nu. IAD goes right over it and it has enough lag that you can get in a few jabs and start the pressure before she has a chance to move away ^^b
  6. Just wondering what some strategies are against this kid. Depending on the player he's either been extremely easy or extremely difficult. I can't seem to get out of any combos D: A good Carl's like a punching bag, and then he hits you and you lose. :blue:
  7. That can work well but you get punished pretty hard if he sees through it and backdashes/guards/counters/etc... you don't want Hakumen to not be stunned while you're in drive xD

Don't get grabbed either, reverse grab to 236C (or w/e her CHING CHING combo is) hurts pretty bad =( Also look out for that damn grab distortion drive she has, she can punish almost anything with that since you can't block it and I'm pretty sure it grabs out of the air, not 100% though. Does a good bit of damage xD

I've found this is a matchup where you really gotta avoid drive moves unless they're guaranteed, and even then stick to shorter combos ( I believe the 6B > 6A loop works though since you bounce him o: ). You've gotta play a lot of zoning against him, which sucks because he has a great zoning game.
