When's marvel? Also gg doesn't happen until Sunday I think.

So I got a room, and am definitely going to season's beatings. Already preregistered and everything. Anyone in the area that is looking for a ride should respond here. I'll discuss details with whoever is interested. With that said I'm fucking HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS GO! EDIT: right now my plan for the trip is to head out sometime in the afternoon or evening on thursday to make it there by friday at a reasonable enough time to be able to wake up in time for all the stuff happening then. As for the return it's gonna be late sunday night, I need to make it back by monday morning. I'll talk with people who are interested and explain more, but this is the basic idea of the plan for driving there and back. ALSO IMPORTANT NOTE I DID NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THE VENUE, THE HOTEL I'M AT IS A MILE AWAY, OBVIOUSLY IF YOU CAME WITH ME YOU CAN GET A RIDE TO THE VENUE FROM THE HOTEL WITH ME.

I got my capture card working again yay! So I was streaming silly things in training mode on my capture card and was thinking of including some of it in the combo video (despite none of them being combos) Maybe some glitch exhibition can be added? if not I'll just make a video myself out of it since its kinda funny. If people need me to I can simply record their combos if they don't have a capture card (not that it would be in much better quality since my capture card is just a 20 dollar easycap run through a splitter so it looks even worse...).

I will try to get my capture card to work again so I can record some combos for this, I figure why not. I don't know what combos I'll do yet so I'll post those up as I figure them out (kinda want to try to make some combos to do). So for now I'll just put up what colors I'll use and edit this with the combos I'll do later. Colors are character 4 and persona 15. Also on that note what about setups as opposed to combos? EDIT: first combo 5d FC 4B 2C 236[AB] 236D ]B[ 2D ]A[ Simple combo that is for a fullscreen 5D fatal and gives Oki.(might improve later)

So I think I might be able to make it to this, just gotta double check I got the days off from work tomorrow. Gonna need to get a room soon if that is the case, as well as find out if people want to hitch rides with me (I think casshern is looking for a ride, marlinpie might be dunno if he checks here often, and lordknight I think was interested?).

not sure which character you think was downloaded, I have some yosuke experience so I kinda knew what I could and couldn't disrespect and how. Kanji was just like okay I kinda know this matchup but I need to try more things, kinda still working out some kinks but once I get it down that matchup will be free (at the same time I'll know what I can do as kanji to blow up certain things so... yeah I'll kinda know the matchup from both sides to the point that its hell for anyone that plays that matchup against me, no matter which side I'm on).

I know about the dives with kanji, I was the one who told andy before we netplayed, I just was inebriated and when I am I just give kanji free hits for no reason (probably my subconscious feels bad for the grappler zoner matchup and just helps the grappler win). I have a better answer to it but I just need to work it out in matches, I just need to get used to doing hella negative edging. Also andy, I apologize for the kanji fest but I would much rather play kanji vs yukiko than yukiko mirrors after our previous session (dude fuck those mirrors its like ST ryu mirrors but worse). Casshern when I saw you switching to kanji vs yukiko I didn't know what to think, I was pretty sure you were counterpicking after seeing me play kanji against yukiko (its ironically the worst counterpick in a sense since if the yukiko plays right you just lose but if they fuck up once you win). I like parentheses.

I might be able to help you out, and I'd take you up on the driving offer provided you can drive manual. I'll probably be going to this again, despite the fact that last year wasn't too kind to the anime scene. I'm hoping that with p4a being a main game (now that I've dropped BB so I don't give a shit if its there or not this time) and GG being a side tourney is fine since that's how it's always been (it should be a main game we're getting a new release soon shit) that this tournament will be the experience I remember. Afterall, 2009, season's beatings IV was the first tournament I had ever gone to, and for BB at that (which was run very well), so I have a special place in my heart for this tournament, and would love to have as much fun as I did in 2009-2010 again (hate to sound mean but BB at the last SB was pretty shit, no entrants, last minute, I had to run it coming from jersey... wasn't really that much fun for me or really anyone else playing BB that time). Here's to some hype for persona in september!
