  1. A ps3 port would definitely be nice, but till then i can just live with playing at the arcade. hopefully if they do a port it won't be half assed when it comes to the patch coming out too.

  5. We had SBO qualifiers this last weekend in Houston. Winners were: SF4: Winchester/Adeel/Mauricio BBCS: Kid Viper/Kensou AH3: Kid Viper/Lastblade Are there not any other international spots?
  6. SBO AH3 is 2v2, how are they going to work out a team of 3?
  7. There is, 2 arcades in Texas, USA. have AH3. Austin and Houston Texas. May be others but dunno.

  9. she's changed quite a bit in ah3. her accel movement input (236 and 214) changed to 66 and 44. 5C is a new move, 236 A/B/C are new. almost all bnb's from S!AH2 have changed a little to incooperate the new stuff. btw, i main Lilica.
  10. Weiss ? Shouken Zein (Wear/Disguise Blade ?, probably "Arm Oneself with (Hidden) Blades"?, changes Weiss's bare-handed attacks into sword attacks, likely granting them more range and or power. Input is 22 A/B/C. Does increase range and power slightly, is a requirement for her critical heart aswell. ? Kyoshuuken Meteora (Great Attack Blade Meteor, "summon large sword and ride it diagonally downwards in the air"-super which comes out quickly and travels far, seen in the vs. Kira fight) Input is either hcb A+B or 360 A+B in the air, both seem to work just fine. Critical heart input seems to be 720 A+B with sword equipped. It's the only way I've gotten it to work so far. It may be a different input but 720 works.
  11. What he means by this is that if you use 5C and it lands a counter hit. The opponent is stuck in hit stun for a moment. I feel his damage is slightly less but he has more options and easier unblockable setups. This is from personal experience, I've landed the 6C, 3D unblockable dozens of times already and usually atleast 3 to 5 times a round. 2C after a 2A/5Ax3 rep allows for the unblockable from 6B or 2B. The 2A/5A reps give you enough time to get the 2C out.
  12. What Zeero said, except that you can block while the fireball is still out and it will still be active. However, if you get actually hit, the fireball will disappear. You have to be aware that they will be able to block after too many 5A/2A's. However, nirvana will be to attack again while they are in block stun. The 3d isn't all that fast but the addition of a 5b, 2b, or 6b allows you to get the 6c out before they can jump. Seems to leave you in frame advantage while you do this anyhow, but beware of ragna, jin, litchi, and tsubaki's uppercuts. They can get you if they IB or trade with you. To be on the safe side, if the 6C is blocked, rapid into more 5a/2a or 5b's. side note, this loop can seriously mess up hazama if done right. He doesn't really have ways out until he gets 50% bar.
  13. I've landed TONS of ground loops. Virtually 3-5 per match and I have played quite a lot already. Nirvana does use more health to attack but it recovers FAST. So don't be discouraged from doing ground loops. And even if she does die on you, if you had done atleast 1 ground loop, you likely have 50%+ bar, just shove a gear out or have nirvana use raphsody before deactivating. The ground loops changed a bit btw. [2A,5A]xN 5b>b, 6D, 6C is one of the better ones right now. change 6D to 3D if you want to do an unblockable.
  14. Carl is feeling real strong in CS. Even without his clap trap, also, 2A>5A>2A, ect. doesn't seem to prorate his ground loop and sets up nicely for unblockables with [3D, 6C] and [2D, 2B or 6B]. Also, I can't play either of my characters (Rachel or Carl) on pad. Always have used an arcade stick.

  17. its not blockable as long as their in the blast radius. can't burst them into it anymore since astral activation takes away any remaining bursts.
  18. Ya it's still the same.
  19. Range still feels the same if not VERY slightly larger. The counter starts at 10 still but it mine as well go "10, 7, 4, 2, 1 boom" because of how fast it goes now. Get the astral going, then do what you can to keep them near it for about 4 seconds. Still fine as a time waster if your going to win by timeout since they HAVE to get to you.
  20. dunno if this has been mentioned, but carl's astral takes about 3 to 5 seconds now instead of the full 10.
  21. Ya, i've been thrown out of it dozens of times more than I did in CT. I guess because people are starting to realize that's her new gtfo me move and thats about all she has thats semi reliable now. Think I may have found something that may help her a ton but I'll refrain from posting it til I'm sure.
  22. Saying that if the top JPN/US players haven't found anything then there isn't isn't a good way too look at it. They're not the only ones who can find tricks to use.
  23. harcore 2C mashing lol. But no really, 2C is faster by a little bit and the 2C CH 2D stuff still works but do 5CC afterwords.
  24. I tried that a few times and got smacked So I put pumpkin out and get smacked 3 to 5 seconds later
  25. Don't really know, most of the time when I've done air pumpkin summon the opponent is nowhere near me or I'm too high up to be hit out of it lol. So I can't say for sure. But not being able to do j.214B directly into j.214A is well.... ya...
