  1. Those are part of the reason I've been playing her lately. I am however unsure as how far to take her. She is pretty easy to play however. It did not take long to get her basics down. I like her oki and her damage is decent as well as having a wide variety of options, though they can be pretty darn random.
  2. I have no idea how you guys react so quickly. I get an average between 24-26 and I know I have blocked it before from what I thought was on reaction but I guess not.
  3. When it comes to those I end up being lost. At first I was thinking Makoto was doomed but with all the changes together against the rest of the cast, I am no longer sure. Just have to wait and see. Though it is always sad when someone reports that a group of players looks depressed at the location test (Looking at Tao players).
  4. No kidding. Though to be honest the sidebars do seem a bit much, but when your a game like Arcana Heart, why not take your niche theme and go all the way?

  7. Thanks to the local translators for all their work. I hope that you can get to the Character summaries. I am sure everyone would like to know if their main character is currently inhaling and exhaling oxygen.
  8. I agree. Though the information gathering Cirno has done is nice work. For those who haven't seen it: http://kalfisquine.redmongoose.net/blog/?page_id=843 Originally I thought this would be pretty close to final with small changes from the last Location test but there have been some big changes across the board. Either Platinum is right where they want her or she is going to get toned down to match the rest of the cast right before release.
  9. If there aren't many changes, then I suspect this is pretty close to the final version that we will get to see. Thankfully we will get a week to take in new data and be tested. Edit: Seems there are indeed quite a few changes. They can't seem to make up their mind on some 3C's being techable or not. Looking forward to hearing more.
  10. Next week will be interesting. With a week long test not only do I hope for a complete change log but plenty of videos. And since this is the last before the games release, I imagine this will be very close to the final version of the game.
  11. I do find these very interesting to read and I hope they do get updated but with CS2 coming out, these aren't quite as needed.
  12. The new characters no doubt had some major balance issues, at least in regards to damage. Platinum seems to be more in line with what they want out of CS2 as so far, she hasn't received any changes as far as I am aware.
  13. Lets try to be happy! Maybe there are hitbox adjustments that we don't know about... A new dawn will rise eventually, stay positive! (or prep a sub)
  14. I think you missed the entire point of discussion. Everyone is likely going to need to learn how to break primers at some point in the new game. Bang bursts and suddenly he has 2 primers. That is going to be a prime situation to make him sweat. He would have to risk Danger mode. That is why I brought it up. Plus, from what I can tell, most don't actually have a safe way to remove primers.
  15. It is? I looked at Tsubakis Frame Data and it sure seemed like 22C would be safe to throw into a block string.
  16. Ok, we have now been through 4 location tests. I have looked through Tsubakis change but honestly, I don't think I grasp the true impact of the changes. Personally I think the system changes alone make her a bit better with guard breaking becoming more important and the general damage nerf for everyone, she might not be too bad! How do you all feel about the changes to Tsubaki and how system changes relate to her?
  17. So much has changed to both systems and all characters it is really hard to get a read on things. Especially for everyone here having only to read the changes. I honestly am not sure what to think anymore and just wish I could play it myself.
  18. When you say it restores all your items with Dramatic Sammy, I assume it means it restores all your current items? So if I have only 1 bomb use left, it goes back to full?
  19. You would be surprised. If you told someone that it messes with your game, they will pick it just to mess with you. Anything to get the upper hand if you will, because wining is king to them. Most would probably not care at all and understand the request. But you can't avoid douches unless you can point them to something official in the rules they cannot argue with.
  20. What was interesting about that set was the enormous damage potential of each character. It was like watching a CT match in terms of raw damage output with them both easily putting out 4-6k. It doesn't surprise me that they are nerfing their damage at all.
  21. The nerfs to Valk so far don't seem to change too much. I am most concerned as to how much of a damage nerf we are talking about and I am not sure why they wouldn't want you to combo off 6C, but with 6C being + on block and taking away a guard point on top of there being no proration on guard crush, it will probably be a highly used move.
  22. I don't see why not. You just have to be ready to relearn some of his stuff. Besides, this isn't final changes. I expect a revert personally on all the 3c techable changes.
  23. Its about 5k or 6k depending on the starter and up to around 7-8k with meter. Worth nerfing? Yes. Does it fix anything? Not really. They are pretty much what made Makoto worth playing so removing them creates a hole in her game which I hope they will replace with things that make her more interesting overall.
  24. The last loke test is next week I believe and Plat hasn't been given a date as far as I know. But based on the fact we have had one DLC a month since August, i would bet later this month early next.
  25. Technical might help but you use the second jump after j.aaa to activate the D then BC. The positioning is a bit tricky as if you start the A's too low you'll fall off but too high and the jump will go too high above your opponent.
