  1. lol. At our match today. Super flash buffering is fun :). Also, we need to play more often, I get sick of all the crappy Tagers online that you can just kinda steamroll, and long to be trolled by one that knows his stuff. GG's as always.

  2. Sure thing! Just send me an invite anytime you want to play. Also, you have no idea how much I freaked out when you ducked under my claw, my head darn near exploded. GG's.

  3. You should really get into the habit of always doing the 66 during the combos as it ensures that you will connect on some of the more squirrelly characters (carl, etc) at further ranges. It isn't really that hard, just practice it. If you don't have easy access to CS the timing is really similar to Ragna's 6D>jD>665B link.
  4. I just discovered that Rachel can low profile under DbD... ~>: (
  5. Still, prior to the 5D they must be knocked down, so 3C>5D>(DC)>6A>AirLoop>5D>22C would work; but 5C>5D>(DC)>6A>AirLoop>5D>22C would not.
  6. It's probably because you didn't knock them down beforehand. To pick them up out of 5D you needed to trip them with 3C or 2D.
  7. A well timed 5C can swat her out of her drives, it's hard but less risky than doing 214D~B predictably.
  8. You can replace the 6A with 5C and you can do the combo even when they are just out of the 6A range. 5D>(DC)>5C>BE loop Can somebody tell me what is the maximum number of hits you can have after BE to link to 6D>jD>jC>BE>etc? I've got a chance to play CS again and I wasn't sure whether I was screwing up or I had too many hits.
  9. Tager's AA attacks still suck, so jumping at him is an option, also you can poke a lot with 5B its long, has a convenient hit-box and is +1 on block; also 5A is very fast and will beat most of Tagers attacks if your in range. Just play it really safe, taking risks against Tager isn't a great idea because Tsubaki is super easy to grab with 360/720, and never ever do the shield rush without meter to back you up.
  10. If you j214B (RC) > 2D~D>2B>5C> etc it should work. Problem is you almost always land j214B at the end of a long combo so they will probably be able to tech, also the proration on j214B isn't very good so it's a waste of 50 meter.
  11. It's no faster but I believe it's a bit bigger. Which could explain why people jump/backdash out of it a bit less. It could also be fear of ragna now that he's more dangerous.
  12. Ragna Vs Litchi 2:47 Huge Blood Kain fueled comeback: 2C(FC)>6C>BK>Dash6D>6D>(JC)>(Delay)jD>6D>GH>6D>(jC)>(Delay)jD>(HJ)jD>(JC)jD>BE>CS 7526 dmg. Ends roughly ~2000 life ahead of where he started, which was only about 500.
  13. Be a little bit careful trying to punish a whiffed GH, Ragna can still do the followup hit or not, and if you get hit with the follow-up your in for some real pain. But if you block the followup it's super easy to buffer a 720C. Ragna is one of the few characters Tager can (sort of) AA (like axis said). From my experience 2A can beat Ragna's jA, jB, jC, but will lose to jD. 2C Works well for similar reasons. Also, keep in mind when pulling in Ragna from full screen with AC that he can ID through AC.
  14. I agree, stick with the heel drop. Hiding behind 6a shouldn't work all that often because you can tech really early after 236C, and most good players will tech out of the way and not try to attack through the 6A. It does have some merit though, even if its just to put the opponent in a situation they aren't used to/expecting, also if you watch how they tech you might be able to tell if you can trap them with it.
  15. That combo is mad cool... but 100% heat for 4.1k is just meh, especially when you can get 5k off of a single jayoku. But comboing off of Mizuci Rekkazan is awesome, and you can bet I will try that.
  16. The teleport is only vulnerable to lows... this I did not know. Thanks SwordOfToan I will give 2B a whirl and see how it goes. 5C does not work unless nu is doing something dumb, so I wouldn't recommend it, its just too slow.
  17. Hmm.... it must be a timing thing then, cause 5B never seems to hit her before she's started something, I probably just have to IB better (IBing online ).
  18. I've been having a lot of trouble with this match recently. i can deal with the swords okay but what do you do about that damned teleport? It seems like it's just free pressure/escaping pressure. Is there any good way to punish it or scare nu from using it?
  19. You can cancel 214D~ after 6 frames, which isn't much worse than ragna's 6a (which is invulnerable after 5) In Hazama's case 214D~B the problem is, if you block it, you can punish hazama hard (similar to jin's DP's). Whereas other AA's are much safer. For example, Ragna's 6A can be jump canceled and has gattlings.
  20. ^^you are right, Nu isn't as good up close as she is at a distance, but still... she's top tier for a reason. 3C and 2C are fast enough to cause massive headaches, and Nu can back-dash out of most of ragna's pressure and oki. The only way to truly get nu at a disadvantage is to grab her ass with 22C. Lambda on the other hand, not so much. her C attacks are alot slower (you know like everyone else's C attacks), she gets a DP, but it isn't a good one. Plus it's much easier to end combos with 22C in CS.
  21. GG's today. Your Jin is my nemesis, I hope you don't mind me challenging you all the time, I figure if I play you enough, I'll figure out what i need to do.

  22. I kept trying to block too, but forgot to barrier. Same thing happened when you chipped me to death with MTW. Curse me and my inability to hold down two buttons at once! :arg:

  23. Dicking around in ranked is always hilariously fun, you can troll all day long. I remember the third time you kicked my ass for a random GH and thinking to my self, "...wait, he can block and doesn't mash... crap!"

  24. Just wanted to say your new avatar rocks. Also, gg's yesterday, hit me up if you need players for a player room, after all I can keep ATGmantenbo in check. :)

  25. While I agree with Kaiser in that there are grips that might be slightly better for different motions, you should really just play around until you find something comfortable. If you find a comfortable grip you will play much better with it than anything else, regardless of how 'pro' it is for you character. There really is no wrong way to hold a stick, just common and uncommon ways.
