  1. Those vids of the last tourney made my day.... Now I gotta figure that out now..... DOUBLE ASTRAL SOVIET DESTRUCTION FTW

  2. I'd assume very carefully.... but not very advised when you could end up eating a nice 360A into gadget reset, Just have to be real sure about the area you have to dash through, otherwise Hello Mean Tager Mind games, lots of magnetism, and all sorts of just plain Mean Oki\Mindgames:psyduck: Atleast that's what I think... the risks sometimes are worth it (if you have a clean look through to use a teleport to pin a cloud, try it, and hope you don't get nailed on the comeback from it)
  3. -bump for great justice- If you are in the state of alabama, get on this forum plz and thank you
  4. Didn't see a thread for CS so I went ahead and made one. Discuss this matchup a.k.a. Dodging the Staff....Revenge of the staff
  5. There wasn't a post so I made one for you guys for the CS changes to the Fearsome Bloodege.
  6. Hazama's Drive chains aren't just good, they're damn near godlike against arakune. No long range pokes for the blob, and don't even get me started about the nice anti-air that Haz has up close..... The worst that you have to worry about is a missed poke to Arakune landing the j.4B pressure or an overhead to combo or his j.C or 2C fatal counters. The fact that they changed his j.D to not trade on hit and not hit low made Arakune fairly crappy in zone vs zone matchups. and as always, be afraid of the airthrow to 100% curse, cause that usually means you're eating about 6~9k or some really really mean crossups into those combos
  7. Exactly jD trades worth crap now in general, just not such a good option outside of a combo. well usually. Dear Arcsy, Make Arakune's jD hit low and TRADE with pokes Thanks Soviet Afro
  8. montevallo reporting
  9. That is awesome......
  10. I Tried to start one Anyway, I'm smack in the middle of Alabama at the moment
  11. Bump to keep this thread moving.....Wanting to know if anyone in the Alabama Blazblue\Guilty Gear community would like to have a meet at some point or another
  12. Yo, I'm near the birminham area, going to school in Montevallo..... trying to introduce the people at the gamer club here into Blazblue w00t

  13. Not sure what has changed much but strategies for this fight are Welcomed here
  14. Thinking about learning some to have the Good Doctor to my 's Zappa
  15. Couldn't have put that better my self Be manly use
  16. That sounds like something of a crazy plan that actually might work.....
  17. quite freaking true.....
  18. More seriously though (for CS) If you love flashy high risk-High Reward mixup and combos If you love and his High Risk\High Reward style and if you love to Loop people to death and then some (Yeah, does beyond SOVIET damage) Join the Hive use
  19. All about some of those mind games in this match-up from what i've seen, either side can get on a roll and rip off 60% or more life in less than a bite or two. But that being said, this is definately a 6-4 in Haku's favor due to the sheer amount of close in tools and damage output he has. I'm just going to say, 2D is damn near useless due to the black hole traps that haku has now. At least in my limited time in the match that i have gotten to play
  20. Indeed it is
  21. Since this matchup changed more than about any, I didn't see a thread so I made one Where to start. Hmm patience is your best friend as tager at anytime within arms length can 360a (or B if they are feeling lucky and get luck) can get you into the Gadget Trap or atleast apply some magnet to you (takes a weird combo but I know it can be done) Rocket Finger can be annoying especially when trying to apply pressure as it vurtually assures tager a nice 2.5~3K combo and more than likely puts you in the Gadget Trap:vbang: Trying to think of ways to apply some pressure without falling victim to the GCtrap....among other things. Another matchup of New tools with old tricks that make this kind of scary, but even more so than the Lambda 11 matchup. Atleast in this fight you have the zoning advantage and some crossups
  22. Ugh..... lots of DP baiting from what i've seen in this one, Treat Tsubaki as a Faster lighter hitting Ragna due to the plain mean uppercut punish she has. usually good for 2.2k maybe slightly more without Charge but i may be wrong. Getting in without getting punished is the main problem here, but otherwise a very managable matchup, similar to the Noel matchup in pacing and damage outputs for the most part
  23. Hmmm, alot of the same problems in the L11 matchup, No free clouds no free jumps. Baiting the chains is one way to do things and making Hazama guess during your pressure. This matchup has far less cheese from what i've seen compared to the L11 matchup so in difficulty i'd say that this is about a middle of the run 6-4 in hazamas favor but is manageable none the less EDIT: now that I've seen some more of what Hazama can do, I don't really know if this is a managable 6-4.Hazama's normals are damn near godlike in this match, fast and most hits combo into a good 3k chunk of hazama-combo, Arakune. Hazamas 2C is just when trying to apply pressure. Maybe i'm just missing something but I dunno, what would be the best bet for this matchup, crossup wise and un-cursed
  24. Good Post.... nice info
  25. This matchup still sucks hard due to the number of tools(cough) swiss army knives(cough) L11 has. Its again a battle of attrition due to L11s range and quick closing attacks that if you get a chink in the armor so to speak, you end up eating a 3k combo every single time. But on to the main problem i have with this match-up and have had since CT..... whats the best way to approach L11.... turtle and be fresh goo or be agressive now and take some more risks. Meter is not so easy to get and pressure is plain hard to apply, maybe slightly more so than in CT due to the new Parser Zweis.... ah well. Just more for our lovable blob to fight through:vbang:
