  1. I do that offline. feels good, bro.
  2. I have the hardest time in the world playing online; not even because of lag. I'm so used to playing people in person everything feels wrong online. that said, I feel like the netcode in this is pretty dang solid
  3. ray, i know it works on yu's 2b, but we're talking about teddie's 2b. the divekick thing might work, but i don't like it as a move in general. if it's not done at the minimum height you get no + frames from it, and if it isn't counter hit that's the end of your pressure
  4. I will try later tonight, but you should try it too. if you can get it to work you can show me if i'm doing it wrong
  5. oh, i don't think it works well against teddie's 2b.. it has too much vertical range. I tried a bunch of different things but if you delay yourself just out of range with a j.c or double jump he has enough time to 2b you again. it sucks dick. it's easier to keep the right range
  6. but chie's hits standing characters, right? mine doesn't do that sadly chie's hitbox is superior ...and by hitting standing characters, I mean if you were to jump and immediently hit c, it would hit standing characters... i don't know if we're talking about the same thing.... but even as a jump in... it won't CH anti airs very well it has tons of horizontal range, but that's it
  7. there's a few I found that are move related. other than that I learned the perfect spacing to avoid 5b and 2b at the same time and score a free counter hit combo on whiff as well as set ups to put you in that spacing. it's extremely ambiguous. I also have a few ways to score a meaty wake up attack with yu combos. I don't get oki with izanagi but I do get traditional wake up
  8. i found some really awesome ways to avoid teddy's 5b and 2b and land big damage... hopefully i can put them into practice
  9. it's okay. ray does that to everyone
  10. ruben, do you need lema and myself to bring anything for tonight? drinks / whatever
  11. I found some goodies in training mode... hopefully i can put them to good use
  12. It's something I still need to test. I haven't really played persona since the ranbats so there's a lot of things floating in my mind that I'm trying to improve before putting it into practice. I think that instant blocking the first hit of the sweep and then r actioning may be a valid way to get him off. plus if the r action is a counter hit i get free oki (izanagi-less sadly) but it's wakeup nonetheless. There's a lot I need to improve on in this game still. I gotta figure out a way to slow down everyone's offense; make it all run at my speed. That's only going to come with time
  13. it was fun up until i was raped over and over
  14. aigis has to zone everybody outside of orgia. zoning doesn't just mean shooting shit everywhere, aigis has to be smart with her pressure and spacing until she can get the ridiculous pressure/mixup orgia offers. There are great ways to manage the orgia meter that a lot of american's aren't doing at the moment, but when that is on recharge.. your best option is to get breathing room and holding them back with 2b and other projectiles. as far as zoning with mitsuru goes.... can she zone at all? she always striked me as a pressure, footsies character. you can't just fling out random D's and call that zoning. they don't even tag a lot of characters if they're crouching and she is left pretty vulnerable on whiff. sure, droit is a good move, but not necessarily a zoning tool. (not saying it doesn't have zoning possibilities, but it is not the same as a fireball)
  15. I think everyone did well. I don't think anyone is amazing yet. it's hard to be incredible at a game that's been out a month; especially when we don't even have frame data for it. it's all just feeling it out and playing the game. after more practice I'm sure we'll all do much better.
  16. you should tell him to come out as well then so we can all get in games
  17. true, but it's been a while since i've seen him here. regardless, better player won.

  21. the sooner the better. once everyone is here, we'll go. everyone should be here by 2 at the latest except jimmy. he might be here by 2:01. because he's a k-rockstar and gets off at the thought of people waiting just for him
