I'm not sure about the claw, but blood kain is invincible to everything, not just throw on start up

A little while ago I was able to jump B 360B, but lately whenever I try it he just does the stomp instead. Was the couple times I got it a timing fluke I had? Is it possible if the jump B is blocked? Thanks
