  2. Last JP tier list I saw said the same thing.
  3. My Xbox has everyone, my (brother's) PS3 only have Makoto. I can bring the Xbox whenever if people have sticks to use on it. Also - Don't worry Crown, Noel's damage vs Ragna's pokes and options will probably only make that match even. Though I do enjoy Ragna's little health bar =3
  4. Mainly, things go down in Ludlow MA and Willington, CT for casuals. Copy and Pasta'd from HomingCancel - Furok's Basement. 37 Munsing ave. Ludlow, MA 01056. I usually host casuals once a week on either Wednesday Thursday or Saturday. There are 4-5 TV's, a couch, some chairs, sometimes food, and a cat named Catsuki. -Game Underground 1251 Worcester Rd Framingham, MA 01701 (508) 283-1503 Tuesday and Friday night Fight Nights $5 venue Starts around 5PM-12AM (or whenever Lucky D feels like leaving) It's primarily a SSF4 fight night but some BBCS heads go down and play -The Mindhiv3 (North Coast Home Stage) 456 Tolland Turnpike, Willington, CT, 06279. Sporadic casual sessions, but are typically announced a week in advance. There are 5-6 TV's, a futon, and a license plate that says "North Coast." Also we've got Battlegrounds but attendance there has been pretty low lately. If you wanna check it out, there is a link in the events subform. The more the merrier at any of these places.
  5. If I hosted casuals, they'd be on the weekend. But my house kinda sucks for it =/ Both of our characters are gonna be boss in CS2 so that'll be hype. More like wait for the rage if/when he loses in a mirror match to someone who picked her up just to tier whore.
  6. That'd be hype. I'll have to keep you posted on if NJ/NY are showing up or not as the time comes. They all showed up last year so I don't think it'll be an issue. Plus they have no excuse since its basically in their back yards.

  8. ECT was late May. I remember it was the 22 & 23rd because when were driving home the next day, it was my birthday haha

  9. Not at all, you're probably salty you lost to someone that doesn't really play BB ;-) But honestly, it's been ages since we've played. The hellllll. Can we talk about how terrifying Nas will be now?
  10. Agreed. Its what we run on. BB as a whole doesn't really allow for oki outside of a handful of characters. And even then, some require meter. Sidenote - I was messing around today and tried the 4D whiff while they tech into 50/50 deal. Worked out moderately okay as long as they didn't tech roll. Once I had 4D hit, then for the shit of it, I threw Spring Raid. They neutral teched after the 4D connected and ate the SR. I had 50 meter to blow so why not give it a shot? But if you want to talk about gimmicky, THAT's it!
  11. Luna, your vids helped me understand Dragontamer's jD > d6D > d6C deal. Thanks for that! Its a good mash trap, but I'm hesitant to call it oki. If you look at oki in games such as Guilty Gear or Melty Blood, it is nothing like this. I guess this is "BlazOki". In games such as those you have your combo ender which grants you a small chunk of untechable time where you get to do whatever you want to your rising opponent. The setups I was talking about are going on that mindset - getting your full/guaranteed damage combo then working with the downed opponent. But at the end of the day, damage is damage, however we get it. I do support the use of the trap you were talking about, DT. I'm gonna work that into my gameplay. Also, I'm going add Mizzet's crouching drive 2D setup too. I never put any time into that one.
  12. While this could potentially be a reset to use, its not oki as there is no knockdown. If they are somehow in the air, they can just block after teching because d6C isn't air unblockable. I'm not really sure what the point is, as you're doing a real combo that will end with the character knocked down in the corner where oki can actually be attempted (as much as it can be in BB).
  13. Sakkaishi bringing the hypeee
  14. There's Summer Jam and East Coast Throwdown. Either of these can be a good time. What you really wanna keep an eye out for is if NY/NJ will be showing up or not because they are the hype and the best players pretty much. ECT is actually in NY and not far from NY so that stands the best chance to have the most people at it, imo.

  15. Taco Bell: Entire menu is the same thing but arranged in a different order.
  16. The most subtle blowup I've read in a while. Alexandrite + Hype Dog's stage. Doesn't get any better. I support this.
  17. There's a reason I always put Alexandrite on. Fistpump during her 3 second distortion drive animation. Every time I get comboed by a Tager, someone yells "SNOOKIE WANT SMUSH SMUSH" behind me. No joke.
  18. This thread name is too godlike. My color pallet for Noel highly approves.
  19. You're wrong about nothing, here. As I said, I have zero experience using that setup - was just posting it because I knew it existed. To add to that, nothing Noel does is safe so this also should be no surprise. These aren't things you wanna use all the time, by any means. Like all situations in a fighting game, you need to feel out and read your opponent's habits as much as you can. I did make a little note about people DPing (didn't mention the 360/720, but that should be understood as well without saying, at this point), and how this isn't going to be a tactic to use all the time against the entire cast. When used sparingly, these stand good potential. Of course if you play against someone who mashes reversals on wakeup every single time(this is BB in America after all), you do not want to use this. If they mash 2A on wakeup a lot, 2D them. It's all about switching up the game plan and learning your opponent - or - training them.
  20. How the hell do I mess that up?! I only get that if 2B counter hits. I'll mash harder, I suppose.
  21. I'm being lazy - was there a change to 2B that isn't in the OP. I swore I read somewhere that 2B's attack level went up, or something like that, so we can actually hitconfirm with it now. Like 2B > 2B > 6A > Combo. Just curious because that would be godlike.
  22. My reasoning VV *reposting since it fits the conversation here* I'm assuming you mean the Ragna match since Arakune is always in the air. Honestly I'm not sure if its specifically match up related. Personally I think it was more of how the Ragna showed GUCCI that he didn't give a shit about what he was doing in the air. Everything was DP'd, 5A'd, 2A'd or 6A'd. Hell, even running up got DP'd. He used it once in the very last round. Actually because of what happened in round 1 - GUCCI adapted and took a much more ground based approach which is hard but needed in the Ragna matchup. If he was in the air it was in attempts to dodge/yomi a move. And in all honesty, if the Ragna wasn't SO scared of the corner in round 3 and stopped barriering, he could have DP'd his way to victory for free. He had 100 meter to do whatever the fuck he wanted, but the pushback allowed GUCCI to keep pressuring at a somewhat safer distance.
