Uh, I noticed a while ago that certain basic tech traps e.g. 623B -> d.5B -> trap don't seem to work on Tager. Is Tager's air tech huge? It does kind of look like after air teching he doesn't end up in the same spot as any other character would be after a tech. I noticed this happens with Rachel, too. Yeah, just wondering the SCIENCE behind it.

on Arakune: 623B RC d.6C dj.D v 2B 6C j.B j.C j.623B 4061 Damage only worth it on arakune. this is only if you suck too much to d.2B after 623B like me of course. oh hey sho i rendered your ground command throw into daifunka obsolete. replace the 623B with 5C and it does 40 more damage and easier timing imo. =D edit more fun with this. ground command throw RC after 2nd hit 5C 2C 623B d.5B 2542 damage + tech trap opportunity super edit: Ok this HAS to be old. I've never seen this posted and I've never seen another Bang do it which I can't understand why. 623B CH Daifunka. 5014 damage ...works on everyone. wtf. -
oh lol how come i never tried it on 5D haha thats like the only thing i didnt try. Practice mode here I come.

How do you beat Tager's blockstring: 5D Bsledge AAAA repeat? I've tried 6D and 5D on the As and both with circle teleports still get me caught with the next 5A. I've seen Sho 5D sledge but everytime I try it I get CH. Do you need an IB?

I think he was asking if the enemy has time to jump out which wouldn't happen in training obviously.

I have just discovered the one reason my Tager is still plain awful. I don't know when to backdash and therefore never use it. Any suggestions?

I only watched the two last rounds, but those nus were pretty bad. Nice work with 6C j.D cat 2 combos in the 1st one. I should start going for those. and 5C. i need to use that more I guess ... -

hmm, what about RCing into tech trap off ground command throw? That's not a combo, but I've never seen it done before. Like 5B or 2B or something. This would be cool: 623C rapid after 2nd hit 2B IAD j.623C rapid after 2nd hit 2D j.D 2B 6C j.C -

I don't think that "combo" is even new though. We've known about corner 2C -> 2D for a long time now and there's tons of ways to air combo into j.623C if you want to. -

Well since this thread was bumped I might as well give my opinion since I never have here. I don't really know how to rate Bang because it took me months to be able to beat my friend who mains jin consistently whereas I took Ragna into training mode once without looking up any combos and I can already beat him with Ragna. But then there's the matchup difference and the fact that my general knowledge of the game has increased dramatically since I started. In short, this question is unanswerable for me unless I could magically forget everything I know about Bang and start over. FRKZ is hard anyway. -
Then I'm miss timing? 2A always misses for me when they neutral tech and jump. I did a variation in this fight at 3:32. It's basically Psychic Collider but imo a bit safer and more likely to connect because ara's air game is pretty slow when he's trying to back off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byGs9CzfOgA

I've noticed Arakune LOVES to be in the air. If you notice your friendly neighborhood ara neutral teching and jumping after 6D 9623B when you try to 2A, IAD command grab him. It's a beautiful thing. Just don't be predictable with it =p

Lmao trolled like hell. Actually Bang's FRKZ potential has been reached. Yes he can get sick 4-5K combos in it with practice but the problem is he's so easy to hit in that mode (especially if you've bursted...). If you can tech throws, bait his drives, and not be dumb enough to get hit by 5A (which he can't dash cancel -_-) you'll be fine. Unless you're Tager or Hakumen of course lmao owned.

I'm working on learning more properties and openings for Bang's astral heat. Things I've found out: You can buffer it in an IAD, really hard though but man this would be so effective if you could get it down. Try to anti-air my astral:yaaay: If Bang is in the corner and you do a normal air throw v jump astral it will hit all 3 tech types but NOT forward tech + airdash =[ When you notice someone keeps trying to jump out of your blockstrings jump and astral aka opponent guards 5A 5B 2B wait till they jump and then astral. IAD to command grab is amazing here as well More later... maybe

WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THIS BEFORE. Inspiration when I was practicing Ragna against the computer Bang (lol) 5D 9623B d.2B 623B d.6C 623B (2C) No more wishing I could do something better than j.B 623B of off those random 5Ds o-o edit: hmm its not on page 1... is this new? 5D 9623B Daifunka does 4398 edit2: more interesting stuff. the 2B doesn't have to be a dash or even a walk. you can literally stand in place and do it. also, by doing 9623B slow and and letting bang get a little bit off the ground, not only does it do more damage, but the next 2B doesn't have to be delayed. all this works off of 2D as well and does more damage then any of the 2D j.D BnBs but... you know... 1 seal =[ not on tager though 2D j.D 2B 623B d.2B 6C j.C does a tiny bit more unless you can get the 2c at the end. more ways to do triple crash is never a bad thing though and completely unrelated 2 seal ive been using lately: j.4C 2C 2D j.D 2B 6C j.B j.C 2900 damage. omit the j.B and they can't air tech. works on cat1s and 2s. If you do j.4C too early 2C wont be guaranteed but if you get a CH it will be. If they guard the cross up or you do it too early and they don't guard low you can end with 2B 623B daifunka instead. edit3: man I learn so much messing around in training. If you can somehow hit confirm a CH j.4C: j.4C CH d.6C j.D (jump cancel for cat2s) 2B 623B daifunka 4611 damage
