So I'm one of those noobs that wishes to learn the game. I entered a few tournaments before ever even playing the game (fighting game = fun for me). I liked it enough to hunt down a brand new copy for ps2 for a mere $30. I JUST last night modded my custom stick to have PS2 capability. BlueNINE has offered to try to teach me, but he's an hour from me. 90% of the people I talk to say its dead, dont play it. Too late, I bought it. I for one have a soft spot for oldie-but-goodie fighters, especially ones that I can play with even a few different people, eventually competitively.
I wish it had Netplay, because I feel it would be easier to get up to speed. I play fighting games in general, so I think that'll help.
This message is for those that seek to teach. All is not lost, as I am one more mind thirsty for GG knowledge. I appreciate the time, effort and patience anybody affords me. Off to read, I go.
