    So then what should I be afraid of? He has no ground strings that are safe from 360/720 and if Valk wants to keep spamming beast cannon I will start blocking and punishing. It isn't safe so I don't see why they'd do it in the first place. I guess I have to give it time.

    There isn't a set thing that people will do though. It's called a mixup because you have to react to what they are putting into it. If the opponent goes low 10 times and goes overhead once, that's a mixup. If he goes low for the 11th time, it's a mixup. Just block what you see and you'll be fine. Just REACT. It isn't overrated, it's underrated. Reaction is top tier in fighting games and RTS. Here's what you should look for that messes with everyone's game. Buttons.

    Unless it's doing over 4k it isn't hurting. 13k health says I'd be willing to eat 3 3k combos if each time it took 50 meter for them to perform said combo.

    This matchup actually has a lot to do with not making mistakes. If you leave yourself open Valk can capitalize for about half your health if he has meter on hand. It's more of a poke heavy fight but Valkenhayn really has to rush down.... and you actually can rush him down. Yes, Tager can rush someone down. Valkenhayn's mixup is not ferocious, he is not amazingly scary or quick. 5C is something you should learn to IB all the time. IB'ing that move makes safe followups (236A) not so smart. IB'ing that move will make Valkenhayn more liable to start doing 6C since he's airborne. At which you can IB 5C or 2C. If you ever see the wolf then just mash 5A. It has nothing that will beat you unless it does beast cannon. And beast cannon cannot combo into anything but more beast cannon. And it doesn't do the crazy damage that you'd think it should.

    But exactly as Lost puts the fear in you, if you push buttons you are at risk of being punished. So therein lies the rub. I dare you to take Tager into training and record "safe strings" and then IB 360A through them. lulz can be had.

    That's the problem. Tager can't get away with shit in the matchup. If you push a button after 5A you die because IB 360A said fuck your shit. So you literally have to start guessing and doing stupid shit and 360A/B whenever you feel you are going to get bustered anyway. If a Tager plays defensively in the matchup he probably gets better rewards but he has to work like 5x as hard to stop Tager from getting in. Therefore putting more work on that Tager for something that may not truly happen or occur, thereby placing him at an odds end with a 720 in his face. If you both play offensively it's a whackjob matchup that really only depends on who mashes 360A slower.

    Then you get to see how safe mine is. The reason I hate mirrors is that it isn't skill that defines the outcome. It literally will come down to luck.

    Alright. QQ this is going to be a Tager dominated tournament so far from what it seems. Hopefully my scene can get rid of all the Tagers so I don't have to mirror anyone at all. (Dumbest matchup in the game)
