Ok i am guessing here, but the reason why Shino isn't getting his QCF/B's could be because he's doing 26 instead of 236. Or 24 instead of 214. I had that problem for a very short while last time too, when i first bought my stick. So Shino, if that indeed is your problem, just be more mentally concious about hitting the diagonals ^^

A quick question: Is there any more reliable close range AA for Testament aside from 5P? I'm presumably ruling out 6HS as it seems suited for long range AA from what i hear.

Anyone knows what's the opening song used in the Slash Sol CM Pleasure Heaven? The readme writes "Pleasure Heaven music source Sum41 World War VII Parts 1 & 2 by Pain for Pleasure", but i've googled both World War VII and Pain For Pleasure, and the only thing i've found is the song Pain For Pleasure by Sum 41, and the lyrics don't match those in the CM. Many thanks to anyone who can help me :D

Just a question out of curiousity, is this thing a CD-ROM that they actually put inside the arcade machines to run XXS? So as long as the board is compatible you can run any game on the machine by changing the ROM inside? Sorry if this is a little irrelevant, i was just curious.

Ok, my 2 cents worth after watching the vids from Silent Shinobi's link. Thanks for the link Stun Edge FRC looks great. Alot more options have been opened i guess. I particularly like when Ky IADs over after SE FRC to combo. I'm guessing FRC on SD was to prevent blockage due to it being too close, so the Ky player instead opted to FRC to combo into knockdown. Weak damage, but smart yeah. It looks like Ky is pretty much all about VT Loops now, especially since it's alot easier with his new VT followup.

You guys are right, "normal" OS isn't able to continue the OD on block. I believe the method behind these hacks aren't very well known, hence why many would probably believe it. Hell, there's even a video showing OS performing tons of weird stuff like Ride The Lightning or Grand Viper. Obviously hacked. I don't have a link to it off hand right now, though. Stun Raising? Sorry i'm not sure with the English translations for his new moves. Yeah it's abit of a pain fighting Baiken 'cause you gotta adjust your Okis IMO.

The changes thread says that RTL is now comboable after. Any thoughts on the usefulness and viability on it? And what combos might we be looking at? I'm thinking standard S S HS VT or VT loop in corner.

I'm not sure if there is a specific way to input an air throw. I'd just 6+HS in the air and get it right usually. I think it's more of a timing thing, but be careful of quick aerial pokes. Try air throwing things like Bandit Bringer for practice?

Lol Rinsuku. I'm having the same problem regarding DPMs as you too, having just bought a stick. Btw, can i have some opinions on the durability of a stick (specifically, mine is a HRAP1), as compared to those used in commercial arcades? I'm really afraid of being too rough with my stick and damaging it. Is it ok to be as rough with a/my stick as compared to using a commercial one?

Real discs are always better IMO, as i've had several burned discs run out on me after some months of usage. Zelareth, all i can say is, i personally find modding alot more stable, so if you can afford that option i'd suggest it.

That's why i said it was way more situational, 'cause you can't just pull of a VT Loop from anywhere in the screen, even with a RC. Of course, if you pull off that little GS Loop i mentioned near the corner, feel free to RC airdash j.D into VT Loop.

GS loop is used because it's the easiest to set up. But even Buppa went for just GS 5P 5S GS 5S 2HS VT, if memory serves me right. I remember watching a top level Slash match where the Ky player did go for VT Loop, after an Impossible Dust set-up. But VT Loop is way more situational.

Oh ok. I thought some people just had too much time on their hands writing that nonsense, and it's irritating when i'm trying to see what's the latest legitimate post. Anyways, thanks for clearing that up.
