  1. Thanks for clearing that up! Whilst trying the combo I actually waited until 5D hit before I hit 5B and 5C, which is why it didn't seem to work properly. Now I know :D Wow, ok. Ara's much trickier to use than I thought too lol. Thanks for letting me know about the requirement of directional inputs for the bugs. I'll also give the 6C loop a shot once I manage to get his basics down. Might not be anytime soon though, I do have to keep my mains in shape =/ But once again, huge thanks to all who helped me understand this tricky little bugger (pun intended).
  2. As quoted below. Well, it's without any numbers so I assumed it was 5B to 5C, since 5C launches. Or am I mis-understanding it? Er, I assumed it was an easy beginner's way of comboing something faster into a launcher, like how Ragna can do 2A 5B 6A. I'm only just picking up Ara, so I thought I'd get used to something easy first :D Thanks a ton! I suppose those combos look easier to start practicing compared to the 6C loop, although as mentioned above, I'm just a beginner with Ara and have no idea what's really hard or not. Excellent to know, thank you Also, when you guys say [insert normal]bug, do you mean to just hit the normal, er , as per normal, and then let the bug automatically hit? Just to clarify. For example, in the combo tolore kindly helped transcript: 2a->5B->5D->Cbug,Bbug-> So after 5D, I should just hit 5C, 5B?
  3. Hey dudes. I decided to pick up Arakune the other day for the fun of it. Looked in here and saw the vid for basic BnBs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g10aHEc2HA Would a kind soul kindly help me with the commands for the second combo (VS Rach), third one (VS Jin), and the last one (VS Bang)? As I've just started, I'm still not too familiar with what the different normals look like, so hence my inability to just compare them to a pre-written combo.They look like good and easy combos to start with that does not require a pre-cursed opponent. Also, how does 5B combo into 5C? Am I just getting the timing wrong? I can't do it on a non-cursed opponent, and the first post that lists it does not mention a pre-cursed opponent.

  5. Some more quick Ragna questions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGfC9Y-TzLc What's the massive combo after Blood Kain-ing at around 2:38? Any reliable ways to combo into 2D for 5C relaunch? And for that matter, is it better to relaunch with 2B 5C or just 5C alone? Just to confirm: The second hit of Carnage Scissors comes out after you release the D, and it's damage is measured by how long you hold the D?

  9. LOL. I kinda had half a mind to mash on his "stick" like i would a GV. But yeah, i did test it later on and it seems to be functioning ok. Maybe i was just paranoid lol. Thanks anyways :D
  10. Just to ask, how sturdy is the HRAP1's stick's build? A friend of mine lifted it completely using only the stick alone today, and by the time i stopped him, well, he had held it for awhile. Just wondering if any harm's been done?

  12. DI, run up, Wild Throw. Especially when opponent is at very low health. I've actually seen it work, and used it before. Does wonders to opponent's ego lol.

  15. Just curious about something regarding the set of Outstanding Combo Clips on YouTube. For those crazy loops such as those used to end Sol's and OS's combo videos, did the player program it into a programmable controller or did he really play the entire thing by hand?
