predicting a burst with a move like jin 623D is usually a colossal waste of meter, most good players wait to burst until you throw out a move with high startup like jin 6C to launch.

Fun netplay strat with Jin! Run up and 623C, if counter hit dash 5B do air combo, continue this until ad nauseum. If knocked down, wake up 623C, RC do it again if you have 50 heat. I straight up win most of my matches this way. Stay free netplayers!

CS2 Jin is sexy. That is all.

Jin needs to be super conservative with his meter use now imo(less flagrant use of 236D spacing), but he has the tools to do 3-4k meterless pretty much anywhere... Best uses of meter for Jin now are: RC 6A into launcher combo Going for the kill with a simple combo into 75 heat D ice car to 632146C midscreen or 632146D corner Counter Assaults RC reset pressure (ice car high-low crossups, etc) 623D for the quick DP I am seeing less and less of the standard 5B > 5C > IAD 236D shenanigans...has it gone out of style?

5B link from 623C in the corner is harder than anything Jin had in CS1, just sayin...

5D was like the CS1 red-headed stepchild so I think it will take us all quite some time to re-use it haha.

Still trying to get used to new 5D. Violent Ice corner combos are awesome. I hate j.C > dj.2C and I always will, and it looks like it is part of jin's b&b for throws and non-corner combos...bah. Standard non-corner ground sekka combo is very simple, just have to rip myself away from old tendencies of 6C > 2D...
