  1. random meterless combo thats probably known but i only figured out the other day when opening the round with a 22b. ch 22b, 5b, j.b, j.c, JC, j.c, j.c, j.236a, j.214c
  2. ah k so not worth the charge. curious then ... is there every really a time where doing j.236D is worth it? in or out of combo except for cancelling a dp?
  3. i saw in a vid somewhere (i cant find it anymore), i think it was ginseng playing. did a combo something like: (corner) 623D, j.236D, j.214D, 5b, j.b, j.c, jc, j.c, j.c, 236a, 214c is this character specific (he did it to tager)? can you do 5C, 2CC aircombo instead of 5b aircombo? next question is, is it worth the charge, cause it looked flashy but i couldnt see how much damage it did.

  11. i dont know if this is the right place to put this but its a combo question so i guess here its ok. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qy_uW2lpfA&NR=1 in this vid at approx 1:22, the hakumen player goes for something after the 236a, dash, b, s.j, j.2c. he does this a lot in the vid and never seems to connect anything after the j.2c what is he going for that would warrent stuffing it up all match over just going a 6c after the 236a? or even, b, j.b, jc, j.c? unless he just thinks he is closer to the corner than he really is? another question at 5:30 he does ...5C, 236a, b after the b are you ment to super jump to get the j2.C, falling j,c, 2c, s.j, j.2c etc or do you only need to do the s.j the second time you take them into the air?
  12. im having massive trouble against rachel, its the j.3dc/j.2dc or just j.2c in general i cant seem to anti air it with 6a or 2c, 90% of the time i get smashed for trying to anti air it instead of just blocking. its the only character thats frustrating me to vs. Is it just that im super shit with the timing or am i missing better options to stop the rachel onslaught.

In the corner, also works on Noel and Tager.) 6b can be added after 5b at close range or if the opponent is cornered. BNB: Uses 1 wind: 5b (6b) 5cdc 214a dash 2b 5b (frog hits) 236a dash j.2c [j.214b wind oki]} 3079 damage (3274 w/ 6b) For Carl, you can actually get 1 hit of 3c as an ender depending on what you do during the combo.   14. i dont have the problem of the 22a more take this combo as an example of one that works on noel BNB: Uses 1 wind: 5b (6b) 5cdc 214a dash 2b 5b (frog hits) 236a dash j.2c [j.214b wind oki]} 3079 damage (3274 w/ 6b) I dont understand what the 236a is for, i assume its just to get a pole out there and is not required for the combo to work, and where the 22a issue comes into play. my main problem is that if i do 214a then i cant make it in time for the 2b, 5b. i did notice that depending on when i buffered the frog the closer rachel was to the opponent after 5cdc but even then i cant get it to connect if i cast the frog unless im in a corner. ive been doing this instead 5b (6b) 5cdc dash 2b 5b sj j.b j.a j.b j.c dj j.b j.c j.236a (or oki version with j.2c 214b) also i asked this before but no one answered where there is the green header, that means till the next set of combos for a different starter or till another green heading that all following combo's from that header work on the mentioned characters right?
  15. well i cant do the dash 3c lol, if it connects then the frog doesnt hit, and most of the time i cant get the 3c to connect, ive opted for dash 2b, 5b, but i know thats crap. im sure ill get it eventually lol
  16. ive got a question about air grab combo's, i know that its not that important to her game but if its thrown in every now and again when the opponent doesnt expect it then i think its an ok mixup in small doses after already doing half an air combo during a finisher for another combo or the like. i couldnt see a combo for air grabs on the main page, im sure someone has already come up with more awsome ones than i can, but whats better than: airthrow 2d 5b sj j.b j.a j.b j.c dj j.b j.c j.236a? im assuming that can be done, but i usually do airthrow 2d 5b j.b j.c dj j.b j.c j.236a cause im still working on my execution to get the sj down. and a quick question about the combo list, if the combo has Doesn’t work on Noel & Tager above it i get that that means it doesnt work on them, but if the combo is 2 down from it and doesnt have this label, is it structured so that all till the next heading like that doesnt work on noel and tager or just that particular one?
  17. when you say super jump you mean 29 right? of do you mean using wind? when people say stuff like j.b, j.c , jc does jc just mean j.b, j.c, 9?
  18. ive got some noob rachel questions. im a nu player but want to learn rachel as another sub. rather than try out all the combo's listed in the first couple of posts and find the best ones, can someone give me a list of core rachel combo's that all rachel players should know to start off with. i.e non character specific stuff (ill never learn those cause ill never remember all that) i usually best learn a character by working out what the must know combo's are then making my own variations to what im comfortable inputting. like i currently use (excuse my notation if its a little different): j.2c, b,b, c+d, c, 236b, 22a (or instead of 22a ill use special) obviously i dont need the j.2c to start the combo and i do it off 2a instead sometimes or off pumpkin hit. or j.2c, b,b, c+d, c, dash, 2b, b, 9, j.b, j.c, 9, j.b, j.c, 236a 6b(counter), dash, b, 6c+d, c, b, b, c+d, c, 236b, 22a (or variation as above after last c) or if got more wind ill do 6b(counter), dash, b, 6c+d, c, b, b, c+d, c, b, 6c+d, c, b, b 236b, 22a (or variation as above after last c) and wall combo after c+b, b frog, dash, 2b, b, frog hits, 6a, special and if i dont have special frog, dash, 2b, b, frog hits, 6a, 9, j.b, j.c, 9, j.b, j.c, 236a are these the staple combo's for rachel or are there relitevly easy ones than dont require rediculous dash timing etc that i could do instead. and whats the best rapid cancel combo to learn that does decent damage that doesnt have rediculous timing or is it better to combo into special and rapid cancel is mroe for sneaky extra damage to win the round rather than a special combo? like for nu there is practically never a need to use a single special cause the rapid combo's are so good, is rachel the other way round? as ive found the special is pretty easy to combo into, like off a 6a is pretty awsome and easy to input. also i saw a vid of people doing after the 6a, b launch or launch in general. 9, j.b, j.a, j.b, j.c, 9, j.b, j.c, 236a does this work all the time or am i watching it wrong cause thats what it looked like and is it even worth doing?
