This. Doing it early will cause 4D to whiff. You may have to reverse beat j.B > j.A to save your combo if you notice you did it too early. Or just learn the proper timing. :P

Think of it as inputting 4D before 5C. In reality it's inputted slightly during the startup, but it seems like it's before. So when you allecan after volante, turn your 214C into 214C (4]D[) 5C > j.B.
