in all honesty countering barrier bursts is knowing the average barrier burst times, like if your opponent knows they're gonna die in a combo your doing, and you do as well? throw out that counter if the magatama allows it go for super counter (yukikaze) it does like 5K and mosgt people are frozen with fear to dodge it. a lot of the time guessing is good/bad cuz you can be punished for missing your combo and losing some precious damage, but it pays off when you hit it on the mark, in the end the more you acutally know the opponent your facing the better
